Hard 'BOOM' while dreaming

Last night I had the craziest experience.  It occured in the middle of a dream.  I was sleeping heavily in the middle of the night.  Nothing was unusual.  All of the sudden, completely out of the blue, I felt and heard an enormous 'BOOM' in my chest.  It felt like a huge boulder had been sling shotted right into my chest, and the suddenness of it scared the hell out of me.  I was immediately startled wide awake, and for the first time in my life I can ever remember actually yelled when I awoke.  My heart was racing extremely fast, and I was a little confused due to just being jolted awake.  But other then that there was nothing out of the ordinary.  No pain or sensation within the chest.  I was sure something had happened because of the manner in which I was woken up, and the fact that even in a dream it was such a shock, but haven't the slightest idea it was.  When I layed down to go back to sleep I was a little afraid, but tried to get past that to perhaps induce it while trying an OOBE... but no success, just went back to sleep.  Anything like this ever happened to anyone else before?

Nothing that I could not attribute to the dream that I was having.  Was it any part of the dream you were having?

Nah, had nothing to do with the dream.  I can recall in the dream just having a conversation with someone, and then it suddenly happened.  I've had twitches and kicks while dreaming, but never have I jolted up with a yell from a dream.  Not even in nightmares!

Brain Produced Sound

When there was no external noise, your brain produced the noise, and your sense of 'hearing' came from the location you 'felt' or *experienced* the noise from
