Most Successful Technique

I guess I should have included the technique I've been more successful with.  I've been using a combination of keeping a journal to remember dreams, mental programming throughout the day and especially before going to sleep, and waking up an hour or two before my normal wake up time.  Actually, I should explain that a little better.  I will go to sleep fairly early, and then set my alarm to get up 2 hours before I usually get up.  Then, I don't even really get out of bed, even though some people suggest being up for an hour or so.  What I do is I immediately set my alarm again for the time that I really do need to get up, which is roughly two hours later.  Then as I'm going back to sleep I will either watch the pre-sleep images with my eyes closed or just use mental programming again.  I find that this technique causes very vivid dreams, although not always lucid.  However, I've had more lucid dreams with this technique than any others I've tried.

I practice telekinesis. When I'm dreaming and acting normal, I attempt telekinesis and can instantly control the dream which can sometimes turn into a normal OBE.

Beavis,

That's interesting.  So, because you can't do it in real life and find yourself doing it in a dream you know that you're dreaming?  Is this the logic behind your method?

No. I can do it on earth and the dream. It works better in the dream, and sometimes that tells me I'm dreaming, but I dont need to know. The benefit of this is that I naturally control the dream instead of it controlling me, even if I dont know I'm dreaming.

I have a couple things:
1.  I keep a dream journal, which has started helping me remember

2.  I do reality checks(make sure everything looks right and look at my hands to make sure they don't melt, make sure I can't fly if I try to) whenever I get a drink, use the restroom, or check the time.

3.  I, also, wake up before I have to then go back to sleep, although mine is a more natural occurance since I don't set my alarm that way it just happens[:)].

I think I'll start trying reality checks or the telekenesis.  I don't really believe you can do it in real life Beavis, but if you really could you should prove it to someone.  You could personally change the whole world's mentality right now.  However, applying this to a dream sounds very interesting.  I've done telekenesis in a dream before and it seems to help with the clarity.  Marker, how often during the day do you do a reality check?

Just curious, which technique do you guys think is the most successful?  I realize this is more of a personalized thing, but with enough response from you a generalization could be made to help determine which techniques have the most positive effects, and could help many of us in trying to find our own technique.

If you don't mind and have the time, please explain your technique in full.

Thanks,
Kozzi
