By this I mean... I'll switch between two stories that are going on at once. This has been going on for quite a while, now. They usually are as follows:

One dream will put a little bit of stress on me. ex: I'll be at school.

The next one will involve something peaceful, beautiful, and calming. ex: Flying a small aircraft over a bright blue tropical lagoon.

And for some reason, I always crash the aircraft, but end up okay, along with everyone else. (For some reason, the people I was on the small aircraft with I did not know - They were just generic human figures, probably put together in my mind as a combination of people I've seen.) (I've had this specific dream about 4 times now.)

The aircraft crashes b/c there's something weighing down one of the wings.

I'm sorry if I've bored you or wasted your time, but I just have the feeling that there's something more to this.

P.s - For some reason, I have the ability to kind of... Pick up where I left off, in my last dream, and make some progress... but not much, because the original dream keeps wanting to repeat. When I do make progress, that's when I lose any lucidity... which I rarely get, considering I've been sick lately, needing a lot of sleep. Also, last night, I got a LOT of deep sleep, so possibly later today or tonight would be a good time to lucid dream? It's 6:04 am here, by the way.

You probably just watch a lot of TV.

Simply put, there's nothing "abnormal" about anything you could ever experience in a dream.  ;)

I have a term "episodic dream"... I use it to describe non-to-mildly-vivid dreams that my mind wanders to in "default mode" if you will... I can only break free of these if I strengthen my energy body daily. These are loosely based on my social life in high school/college and involve random peers from my past I don't give much thought to in waking life. They often have an education-based vibe and stress definitely accompanies these dreams on occasion... just last night I had one where I felt pressured to complete a project I didn't start. Sometimes I'm in a class and the teacher wants homework from me that I forgot to do... perhaps what you describe is your "default" area in the astral.

Also I had a string of vivid dreams a couple years back where I'd witness a plane crash, typically around my house... they were pretty fascinating as I hadn't experienced anything like them prior.

I think this may be a 'processing' dream- it is indexing how you feel about your life, especially at test time.  Everyone has those, and they should happen.

I think this possibly indicates that you are afraid of 'the other shoe dropping'.  This is also a culturally induced fear that is pretty much universal (I know this sounds contradictory, but if you make me explain it you'll see what I mean.  But please don't make me.  It's too much writing.)

I think which wing has to do with what's bothering you.  So I'll need more info for that one.

Aargh!  Don't do that.  We all choose whether to read people's posts or not.  So quit apologizing for yourself.

Once you explore lucidity, it helps with memory, and this ability becomes more pronounced.  So it's actually normal.

It is also normal to lose lucidity when you achieve something, because you then need some subconscious processing and integrating to do, and you can't do much of it while conscious.
Sleep well and rest up.
Cheers,
CF.
