FT,
These fears are irrational. I guess it was a step ahead for you to confess them here on the board. Those kind of fears only come in the middle of the night, never during daytime, am I right?

At night the atmosphere feels different then during the day. I also had something like that: waking up in the middle of the night being scared with no (valid) reason at all.

The attitude you have to develop is one of always standing up straight, always willing to face up any event that comes on your way.

Discard yourself of any irrational imaginations that only serve to frighten yourself, and deal with anything that you have to deal with accordingly.

[:D][:D][:D]eeb,.....i agree and disagree with you on this 'fear effect'. some times its good to be afraid it strenthens your body for a up coming event....no matter what time it is....but then again i agrre with you because you shouldn't be afraid in your own home at nite.[:D][:D][:D]

My dreams are wierd and without point. They have me meeting strange creatures and characters that I can never remember what they say.

Occasionally I have a cool dream, like one I had a couple of nights ago where I was fighting a huge triceratops monster with a bunch of people helping me out like out of a video game.

That's beside the point. The dreams can suck. A lot. I tend to wake up in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep too.

I wake up and have trouble getting to sleep because I am afraid something (aliens) will drag me off and do things to me against my will, whilst I'm paralysed. Not very nice thoughts, and has led to some nightmares.

Could somebody please help me with this? It's been bugging me for years.
