I agree with MJ. Also, the Aunt's male friend might just symbolise an aspect or emotion of the dreamer's life that's manifesting itself in the form of this male friend.
I don't know what this might be, as i don't know the relationship between the dreamer and the friend, but it's still a possibility.

my dream was about my aunts MALE friend following me around and buying me stuff...please tell me what it means...i felt scared and we were in a mall[;)]
