I too had a dream just 3 days ago inwhich I was in a car driving down a road backwards. My face was close to the ground and I was struggling to see also I felt slightly sedated. It was totaly dark both in front of my face and around me.I was very aware of the moving direction and had sensed that I would be okay though I wondered if I might hit something.

Note*  I often wonder if in fact dreams like that are not just low key o.b trips. In the past with dreams like this i`ve come to realize that im o.b and upon catching cliaity am often fatiuged to the point inwhich I make a simple note and return to bed.

Peace!

it's possible that you were experiencing an energy loss while you were dreaming. usually when you experience an energy loss when you are dreaming or while oobe your senses will start to fade, sometimes to the point where they wont work. vision usually goes first. i believe if you are dreaming and something starts to fade or you feel  it start to you can use the same technique that you use while oobe which is to just feel energy being raised into your dream/astral body. have fun.

Definitely Robin, I actually dreamed ( about 4 different times ) about fighting
people while being blind. I think this blind experience is a deep symbolism of
something. I guess it symbolizes to me the fear that I am physically weaker than
other guys, although I'm definitely not (I used to be extremely weak for most
of my life and I guess that "feeling" didnt quite go away).

I guess your dream symbolized a fear of driving or losing control over
your body while you are doing something important, only you can know
* deep darth vader voice *

p.s.
I also had dreams about my legs being paralyzed, I guess its the same category http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_big.gif" border=0>

It happens to me a lot. When I stuggle to see in the dream I usually end up opening my eyes in the physical.

Robin,
YES!  I too had a dream 3 nights ago (that's interestinghttp://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_question.gif" border=0>) where I ended up blind for a short while ... and was perhaps "driving" but not really ... it was more like I was "physically" floating down the road.  I remember the dream starting in that I was heading South on the main 4-lane road in my town, coming up to an intersection.  I had a very narrow visual, as if looking through a slit.  I then lost visuals and tossed off what I can only describe as a paper lawn refuse bag (like a HUGE grocery bag) ... and then I could see again.  It was dark out, which would correspond with my sleeping time (early morning) and I slipped between the cars heading South at a red light and the cars turning left.  At this point, a car stopped allowing me into the LH turn lane.  I waited for the blinking green arrow and then proceeded thru the turn and on down the road.  I am now considering this to be an OBE/Dream hybrid ... although, I am not sure about the car stopping and its lady driver "seeing me".

Andy,
What's up with us both having similar dream/obe experiences on the same day?  BTW, from what I've been reading both in Astral Pulse forums and some books .... aparently dreaming is done in the base Astral, fo the most part.  I think FRANK has discussed this ... he often finds his wife's spirit out sleeping in the Astral Nature.  I'm still working on OBE improvements ... and will then find my wife and have plans to visit a friend in his sleep (and "awake" him).

Cheers!

After spending too much time in chat rooms a few years ago I found myself having dreams of nothing but voices. My body, the computer, and everything else was absent. There was nothing to see as even text was absent. It was just words. It was not a pleasant sensation to be focused so intently on one thing that everything else was missing, especially as it did not feel voluntary.

Last night I spent to much time gaming with SOCOM.So this mornings dream had me  running around in the dark. The dream theme was of the game yet I could not see anything around me and was becoming frustrated. This went on for awhile when suddenly I realised I was in bed.The sensation of wobbling and twisting around was still with me so I put my focus on o.b affirmation and my target.Nothing matierialised as I slipped back into the SOCOM dream theme again.Still unable to see, once more I became frustrated and woke up.

Peace!

Anyone experience being blind in a dream? I dreamed last night that I was driving my car and suddenly was almost blind I could only see a little at the bottom of my vision. There was not much to the dream but it was strange going blind to the point where I could not walk anywhere..
