Dream colors

Since my ex's accident which has left him in a coma, I have been doing alot of energy work for him. I find that when I am winding down to go to sleep, and my thoughts are on his healing, and I speak to him in my mind I keep having the same "dream" which feels as if he is trying to tell me something and I am not sure what to make of it. I was hoping that some here could at least share any thoughts with me about it.

In this "dream", there is pitch black and then there is a feeling of panic and fear, followed by fireworks type bursts of orange and blue spheres. Sometimes, the fireworks are replaced by a super fast spinning wheel of orange and blue colors. Always it is accompanied by a feeling of panic, fear and more recently loneliness.

Could this be some type of connection that we share (when we were together we were very very close and continue to have a strong bond all these years later) and his mental energies are trying to tell me something, or is it just my own weird way of trying to deal with this situation? (and I am thinking too much about it?)
