Possible Dream Possible Sleep Paralysis

Last night I drifted off into Sleep Paralysis, to get down to the meat of the story and question. I pushed myself up easily out of my body. I didn't bother to look back to check to see if my body was still there, I just felt it was and didn't feel this was a "regular" dream.

As I got up I noticed I was moving slow, which I normally feel doing this types of sleep. I figure it's due to my cigarette consumption, bad eating habits, alcohol, and reckless thoughts. Either way, I started moving towards my door, and passed my television which I had turned off before going to sleep. I thought "Let me see how my reflection look in the screen" when I did so, I did it fast, expecting to see nothing spectacular then I noticed my eye's, and mouth were a bright green with a slight yellow tint. I stop and moved back to see it again, but then got scared that I would be sucked into the t.v. or something and the fear sucked me back into my body.

All perfectly normal, then I see a shadow creature who didn't notice I had seen it at first. so I moved my right arm to flip it off, and again moving slow, i figured half-way through "maybe flipping this being off isn't the smartest idea" so I changed my hand gesture to pointing my index at it to let it know I DO see you.

It was perched at the entrance of my door, on top of a coin holder holding it's right hand out (fingers were aiming out the door) as if in a mocking or receiving gesture. his head began to twist and change shapes rather fast, I wasn't scared but was interested and kept my finger trained on it. it finally noticed I noticed it (or atleast that's the feeling i received) it's was kinda of shocked or intrigued i was noticing it, it then made it's way to the foot of my bed in 2 motions, the first motion was between two dresser draws as if he was bounding forward, the last of the 2 motions was behind my tallest dresser to the foot of my bed. knowing i wasn't skilled in erecting protective bubbles or anything i forced myself to awake.

the experience left me with many questions, and ideas. My first idea was that when i seen myself in the tv screen i noticed all my features were unreadable. the only thing i could see was the outline of my body, my actual body was black (like featureless black) and my bright eye's and mouth. and i noticed the shadow being was exactly the same minus the bright eyes and mouth, no bright color's emitted from it. I started thinking that maybe shadow beings are beings who have physical bodies in other realms but just enjoy the realm in which I saw him in.

My questions...

(1). What was the meaning of the color of my eye's and mouth? When I noticed it, it didn't frighten me or alarm me, I felt happy that although my body was black and featureless the window's to my soul (my eyes) and my mouth were a bright and attractive color amid the dark colors.

(2). What do these shadow beings want? why was it either watching me or asking for attention then got very interested once I gave it the attention?

Hopefully someone can help me if not, thanks anyways.

Answers:

(1) Could be a manifestation of your fear. Ignore it or drench the whole area in PUL.

(2) The being could have been your lost Aspect of Self. Meet it, Embrace it, Feel it and Merge with it. The more fear you feel when doing this, the better as it shows you how much you have feared melding with your Aspect, and gives an indication on how long your Aspect has been locked out from your Total Self. Whatever the creature is, send it PUL.

You may choose to be swallowed or swallow your Aspect as well, depending on if it turns into a huge monster or not.

Remember, the more fear you feel, the bigger your growth of Self will be once merged.

Send PUL.

This sounds more like an OBE than a conventional dream.

Interesting theory worth investigating.

I'm no expert on symbology so I'll go with the old standby... the Hindu concept of chakras. The green may represent the heart chakra which represents among other things, "persona and shadow." It's function is obviously love and all that fun stuff. However, I believe your intuition should be your primary tool for interpretation and as you said, the color highlighted the "window to your soul."

They are probably the most common entity reported on here. I couldn't tell you what they want though as I haven't had much experience with them. Maybe someone will come along and offer their belief on the matter. Do a history search, I bet there's plenty of reports of a similar nature.

Pauli2 and Astral316, thank you for you two responses....

Pauli2, further explain you post please. When you say my "Aspect" I am not familiar with the word in relations to OBE, Astral, Sleep Paralysis, etc. and why would I assimilate it or allow it to assimilate me?

Astral316, It could have been a OBE, I guess im so use to movies in which a OBE seem's 1 way all the time, i could have very well been OBE'n. I'll look into those links you 2 gave me and come back with questions.

I've seen so many different things during SP that I have only jumped to the logical conclusion that they are hallucinatory in nature.

I also see the 'presence' as a sort of feedback. You are sensing you sensing you sensing you sensing you... so fear is propagated. Like audio feedback... the closer you put the mic to the speaker the more feedback.

Entering or flipping into SP with a feeling of apprehension like 'What was that noise?" or "Someone is in the room" instantly sets in motion a cavalcade of internalized sensory input and output that seems to be propagated by fear. Fear also causes release of adrenaline, which causes fight or flight... again.... the sustained electrical shock nature of the paralysis is the rapid electrical pulsations of depolarized neurons (REM Atonia).

Update,

Last night I dosed off to sleep, and I can't remember it all exactly (Didn't wake up a replay the thoughts over or write them down). But this time it was a wavy, black entity, this time a female with a soft voice, I kind of get the feeling she/it was a shadow being.

She had her hand in a beaconing motion, telling me to "Come on". I (lol as weird as this sounds) let out a "Ah! HA!" sound, as if to say "I Knew I would see you tonight".

I didn't feel any pain, fear, negative energy, or nothing of that caliber.
