When I entered the dream, I was lying in a dark place and I could see a python moving around me. Snakes are a recurring theme in my nightmares. I usually started getting nightmares of snakes when I didnt eat well before I slept. This started after I had my mystical experience somewhat like Kundalini but it was a Self-realization experience through Self-Enquiry. So I am not sure how much of this is Kundalini. But the whole point of the dream is to wake me up. I tried to wake up because of the fear of a huge python around me. But I took courage and convinced myself to not be afraid. In an instant, I decided to float up. I started to soar up in the sky like a jet. I think I went up like a few hundred metres in the air and remember seeing dark red tiles of the floor lit by a dim light while everything else in the sky was dark. Then I think I was almost getting awake. The whole dream quality was pretty bad and images were dark and pathetic. I am very unhappy with these kind of dreams. But usually lucid dreams come when I dont expect them and usually when I oversleep cos the mind is probably awake but the body isnt - which is nothing but sleep paralysis.
Personally, I haven't had what most people would call a "nightmare" in well over 10 years.
I enjoy taking "uncomfortable" dreams, such as these and turning them into something else. Whether lucid or not, it's more of an ingrained knowledge know that I do it.
But what you did is a great!
Take those nightmares and tell'em off! :)

Really? I learn more from my nightmares than more normal dreams. There are always obvious things that stand out and they tend to be easier to associate with the source of it. I embrace my nightmares. If looked at in the right light you can really come to understand personal/subconscious issues.
Yeah, I think I'm just boring though. :) LoL
lol... That's not what I meant... I've always had a good number of nightmares on a regular basis and it's always easier to analyze them. Maybe you do have nightmares but don't remember them. Or maybe you don't have any issues... god knows I do :) .
