Title: nightmares return
Post by: AstralCody on February 08, 2013, 21:23:43
Oh man haha... These past few weeks have been hell literally with nightmares. They do not end. I had a dream I won the lottery last night. 12 billion dollars! Well after that I was at a doctor's office. The nurse stuck some probe up my nose and blood shot all over the wall. The pain was so excruciating my jaw locked up and I started shaking. It felt physical. It was pretty upsetting. I did a search on what winning the lottery means in dreams on this dream dictionary. Supposedly I have bad stuff coming my way? I've had dreams of my cousin burning alive and all I could do is watch. People dieing in front of me. Things attacking me... What the hell man? Should I stop phasing before bed? This is getting brutal.

Maybe it is time to ease up a bit and take a break from this. You can try that and see if the nightmares subside.

Another way to look at it is these extreme events are causing you to become consciously aware, which seems to be what you want.

Maybe you should put a "disclaimer" on your wishes. State your wish or intent to become consciously aware, but "free of noise of terror and to do harm to none".

Those are words that are used in a Magickal summoning. You wish to have the entity or spirit appear, but free of noise or terror and to do harm to none.

Thanks a bunch for your reply Lionheart. I haven't been as active on these forums as I used to be but always stop by to read up. I just thought I would see if I could get some advice I sure appreciate it. =D

Nightmares aren't very new to me. I had them my whole life. I feel pain in most of my dreams. I think maybe I should give this a break for a while. I am still going to spend a lot of time in nature, and continue my YouTube series. It's just maybe as far as getting out of body goes I should give it a break for a bit. I been having a major dry spell lately so maybe I need to focus on things here in the physical more anyway for a bit. :- )

I also think me weaning off my medication could be some of it... I talked to my doctors and I am getting off of everything. I simply don't need to be on medication anymore and it just clouds my head so bad... The withdrawals are pretty hectic at first and can be a roller coaster for many people so I imagine that's not helping. I know it will all sort out though.

I think that's a good idea right now.

It's hard enough to wean yourself off of the pills as it is without creating extra stress by purposely interrupting your sleep and Dreams.

Just go easy, but keep up the meditation. That's going to help you during the bad/tough times.

I haven't used my Binaural Beats or Laxman for a couple of days now. I just lay down or sit down like I am taking a nap. No progressive relaxation, no deep meditation, then at the last minute before I lose consciousness, I heighten my awareness. I then experience a very short disconnect and the next thing I know I am waking up in the NPR.

Good Luck!  :-)

Medications can really mess with your dreams, I'd suspect that too. You know I'm really surprised I never get nightmares. When I was a kid I had this idea that only if the light could tolerate the darkness could the light defeat it. I began to expose myself to the most horrible things that humans have ever done, from people getting beheaded with chainsaws, tortured, raped, molestation, death, etc. Some of those things are still burned into my mind. Actually, all of the most horrible ones are. I fell deep into the darkness and understand those who still dwell in it. I never did any of the things that I saw but it definitely shook some screws loose. I'd like to say I'm in the light but more of a gray-black area if I'm honest. Well I did do some horrible things with magick, but not as horrible as the above, at least in my opinion. Sigh.

Just surprised I don't wake up screaming every night, my subconscious has plenty of material to create horrible nightmares with. Really my love is the light in my life, she shines brighter than all the stars in heaven. Without her I'd fall into darkness and probably off myself. It's not every day that you meet someone who loves you that you love back, who's beautiful, and actually has experience with OBEs and sorcery. Didn't mean to hijack your thread Cody. Just perplexes me why you are cursed with nightmares but I'm not.  :?

Oh... well you know nightmares can be a sign of psychic attack. But you know that sorta thing is kinda rare. But just thought I'd mention it. Btw love your youtube channel man, nice work.

Edit: The blackness never goes away. I'll always be permanently desensitized. Maybe that's why I don't get nightmares, because I'm so desensitized that people on fire or violence wouldn't actually be a nightmare for me. Meh. Maybe it's some part of my path or something, hopefully one day I will be able to call myself a lightworker. I'm probably one of the few ex-black magicians here... I wonder.

I suggest to try following possibillities.

1. Every evening in bed, before you fall sleep, you imagine an nightmare situation and how you close your eyes. If you keep the eyes closed for a longer time during a dream, this should lead to awakening. Your dreams seem to be stable astral dreams, which can only hardly be  "broken". So i suggest you to count, while you have the eyes closed. Count as fast as possible. This breaks the input of the dreams.

2. You can also imagine, how to turn bad situations in good ones (becoming a superhero, or fighting the neemy, teleporting, whatever).
