Title: No contral of dream body in lucid dream
Post by: mwaps on June 12, 2012, 06:44:49
Well I had a lucid dream last night,I became aware I was in a dream as I usually tell myself(this is a dream in the dream),the second I became lucid things began to go dark(as in color fading),and I began to float in the air unable to move my dream body.I have had several lucid dreams this is the first time something like this is happening, any ideas on what could be happening?

The term "lost in limbo" comes to mind. Just kind of floating aimlessly. My guess would be you were not ready to end your adventure yet. It could also be that this was to get you to remember this actually happened. Next step would be to ask yourself "why" before you go to sleep tonight.
Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)

It happens. There is different levels(and they aren't linear) to lucidity. What you just described is pretty much the majority of my night sleeps. Lucid, however, no control. When you project often, I assume this becomes standard. It makes sense that it would.
