Im not sure were to put this and what it means exactly but my girlfriend had woken up today and had these real deep scratch marks all the way from her elbow to her wrist. she said she had a dream last night were a girl was scratching her. I just wanted to kno wha this means? Is it possible for u to get scratched in dreams? Anyways any input would be much appreciated. Thankss. :-D
It is possible that she did it to herself while she was sleeping.
I do not think that anything in a dream can harm your physical body. Especially because the girl scenario is used in movies, The Ring for example.
She probably dreamed about it and did it to herself, the body movement for that action is very small, simple and similar movements are done a lot in the waking state.

I agree with Mydral. Did you ever have chicken pox as a child? I did and although I never scratched when I was awake, I did it in my sleep without being aware I was doing it. :roll:

I agree with Mydral and DRipt.
She did it to herself, or rubbed up against a object, which then could have transfered the feeling to the dream.
Example: If you have ever heard your name (Someone telling you to wake up), or the heard the alarm clock ringing while your in your dream and the sound incorporates itself into your dream.
Same thing, just with feeling, not hearing.
