This morning I was in my room, all of a sudden I hear my flat's door opening and closing followed by steps. Somebody stepped into my room. There was a guy standing in front of me watching me. I stared at him, speechless. As I began to feel afraid given the unusual event, I gathered some inner strength and told my self "don't be afraid, be corageous", and looked directly at the guy's face wondering "who are you?". Then it stroke me "I am dreaming". The guy dissapeared, and it was it.. I was having a lucid dream, the most lucid I've ever had... I looked at my room and it was as though I was actually living the moment, I was so in the moment, surprised by the vividness (i wasn´t very excited though). It all faded away afterwards.

The reason  I post this is because of two things:

1.- I have this strong feeling about being able to experience other reality frames if fear can be overcome. Thomas Campbell discusses this in lots of youtube videos. If there is anyone out there trying to have this experiences, I highly suggest trying to overcome fear. How? I don't think there is a prescription, it's about doing it. This is what I learnt today, it is as though I was being tested.

2.- I have had other experiences in which I have realised I am dreaming and become lucid, although never as lucid as this morning. Everytime I become lucid, the dreams fades away. Ive read that you should pay attention to your senses, and that's what I have done, however it hasn't been useful enough. Any tips or advices?

Thank you very much for your time!

Confronting your fears is the only way to overcome them. I find that "re-scripting" helps me quite a bit. lately I have been having lucid dreams every single night, but the strange part is I have to re-script it, or relive the dream over and over again until I finally change the outcome. Most of these dreams are violent and  I am told to handle these in a non violent way. A lot of times it comes down to finding the solution to some kind of problem or puzzle. It's actually quite fun, thought = action leads to some pretty incredible adventures.

Hi,
Always remember you can leave at any time and wake up. There's only your thoughts scaring you.
Let go of the fear and go for it. Thats your next step to some amazing adventures.
Safe travels.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

What you may have had is a false awakening, which is what happens when you dream that you wake up in your bed like normal but don't realize that you're dreaming. These can be especially frightening while they are happening because you automatically assume that just because you wake up in your bed that you are really awake. Try doing a reality check such as the thumb through the palm trick or holding your breath each time you wake up to ensure that you are truly awake.

If you can't stabilize in a dream, try crawling on the ground, eating something, smell something, observe the small details. Maybe tell a DC to follow you in the dream to remind you that you're dreaming and to do a reality check or re-stabilize.
If you have any need of a dream interpreter or anything similar, PM me. I'll try to help you out.
And if there's something strange in the neighborhood, don't call Ghostbusters. PM me and I'll attempt to guide you through your problem.
