Title: Odd side-effect

Basically, its been a few months since i had an actual long lasting dream. But ever since then, it seems that the 'non-dreaming' has had an odd effect on me. Im not exactly sure its because Ive stopped dreaming but i have a feeling it is. Anyway, i use to be a very nervous person, panicking about everything i had to do and so on. But since i stopped dreaming, its as if the emotion isnt in my system any more. Im saying this because i have three A-Level exams coming up very soon and im not even worried one bit, excited actually. So i was wondering if it was the dreams stopping that has caused this or is it a process that happens to everyone or just me :)

Trust me, you have no stopped dreaming. I think it is physically impossible to not go through the REM stage and not be completely fatigued. You have just stopped remember your dreams. Dream recall is a big part of your dream experience. I'm sure your exams have a lot to do with it, since you are focusing on something else besides dream recall. None the less, i wouldn't worry about it too much. You could try to remember your dreams better with a number of techniques, or you could just wait till your mind is a little less cluttered perhaps?

I call this dreamless nights. You have something done wrong with your sleeping behavior. Maybe its just the winter darknes. But im not shure. The best and easyiest method to get dreams back is to split the sleep in two parts. Go sleep for 1 till 3 hours during day or beginning evening and take these 1 till 3 hours away from the night sleep. So youll get more dreams.

I think if you are exhausted you should do your sleeping first and when you think you've recovered then try to remember your dreams with some of the various methods that are readily available to you.  But don't force it, because you'll get even more exhausted.
