Had a lucid dream, something puzzles me

Well let me tell you the dream in whole (its not very long since I woke up because of a stupid construction site beside myhouse):

I remember names were read of a list and I started laughing at one of those names because I knew it. In real life I do not know the person. Then different names were read of the list and I get the feeling that they are from an old real life school class I once was in (not sure about this). Then all of a sudden I arrive at a place with my friends (these I know in real life). It becomes clear that there will be a sports tournament and the names are the people participating. I start thinking in my dream, when I think of the word "dreams" the dream becomes lucid. And now here comes the catch.
I take one of my friends who I know in real life and tell this to him. I tell him: "Everything is just a dream". He looks at me in disbelieve and says: "No its not" (or something like that).
I knew that everything was a dream but still I thought my friend was real and thats why I wanted him to know, so he could become aware with me. I will talk to him today if I can and ask him if he had any dreams last night.
I can't really explain why I tried to talk to my friend in the dream, is there someting like a partial lucid dream where you become aware that some things are a dream but you think others are real?
