Prison

I had a rather startling dream last night, very straight forward but intense.
I was in prison for traffic violation and I couldn't understand why for simple traffic violation would I be in prison for 2 years. I was panicking. Then I realized that my dad was also there, but someone helped him and sneaked him out. I saw him with his back pack disappearing into the garden and the guards did not notice him. Well, my dad passed away 10 years ago, so I know he already escaped "prison" if you will. I am not sure of prison represented earth life. So, I asked someone to help me escape as well, they said yes, so I started gathering my belongings into my back pack, put on my tennis shoes, but I had some jewelry that I couldn't fit, so I asked a very heavy set guy to look after my stuff and I would get him out later when I escape. So, the time came, me and my guide walked out, looked into the garden, but the guards were there, they did not let us through. I realized that I will not be able to escape. I layed down tired to get some sleep and when I woke up (still in the dream) I looked in the mirror and I was a young black girl, very pretty with curly long hair and big eyes. I said, OMG who am I? I realized that I was looking in the mirror but I was a different person. I was pleased about how pretty I looked, but I was very confused at the same time about who I really was. Then I woke up.

Wooo, so you did get out but as someone else. This intrigues me greatly. It appears simplistic - prison, being trapped, escape, possible correlation to Earth or at least many popular beliefs about our Earth.

I've often been surprised seeing my reflection or maybe just my hands or arms and realizing I am someone else. I've no real clue as to what it all means beyond my mind conscious or otherwise trying to make sense of it all.

When I woke up as that other girl, I was supposed to be still there, but I felt that I wasn't because how can they keep me in since I didn't look like myself anymore LOL. So I felt free. Maybe it was a residual feeling left from my challenge, and now since I have changed (well, not physically, but I have grown wiser) I no longer feel trapped here in this life.

I think that is a really mature assessment. Sometimes it's like we can know a thing logically but you just have to feel (experience) it to really KNOW. Coinciding with that I also no longer feel trapped. I'm not sure when I came to that conclusion, it seemed to sneak up on me over the course of life I guess. Till I realized that I didn't realize how very trapped I did feel.

Lightbeam, your Prison scenario sounds quite a bit like the beginning of my "Prison Retrieval", that I am still working on. Thankfully it's coming to an end though.

In mine, I was imprisoned for some kind of ridiculous, trivial offense. That's when the "plot" was divulged to me and I had found my next duty. Possibly your experience will become a multi night one as well. Keep aware!

I'm glad yours is resolving. I'll keep an eye on relating dreams and see if there will be any clues.

It has been coming to a end for a while now. Even though it is still an ongoing event, it's hard to consciously finish it up because I am not consciously aware of it every night. Many times it's just bits and pieces. It's like having to redo a puzzle over and over again. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel though.
