Title: Question about a weird dream i had a year ago
Post by: zorgblar on January 24, 2008, 13:43:42
When i was about eighteen years old i fell asleep one night and had a dream were i was sitting around with a bunch of kids younger then myself on what i think was a tree and then this one boy stands up(i think in the dream he was suppose to be the leader of the group i was in) and says that one day we should all plan on leaving the planet we were currently on together and fly to the next galaxy closet to ours and just leave the galaxy we were in behind for good.Does this dream have some kind of deeper meaning to it?And has anybody else ever had a dream like this?

Something that pops to mind is you were 18, the age that most graduate and begin a new life, move out from their parents, etc. Your dream of going to a new galaxy could have been a subconscious expression of this. The younger kids could have been the younger, childhood parts of yourself, and all of "you" are making the transition into an adult, leaving childhood behind for good.

Only you can correctly interpret your dreams. That might give you something to go on though.

I never thought of the dream i had as being symbolical of making the transition into adulthood.Interesting idea! :-)
