It is red and has these little fluid white streaks of lights going around it..?? Hmmmmmmm.. " - Nay

Really? Were you in another planet?

jc84corvette

I would jump off if I was LD. If I had a LD, I would help you right away!

No, I don't think so..I think that it was just another hint. As if to say..ok, that is weird..ohhhhh, I must be dreaming, then go lucid.

Hehehe..why thanks. [:D] But that is my point..I didn't take the hint to go lucid UNTIL after I woke up.. Or I would have jumped also. [:)] Because once I am lucid..I don't have those fears.

Nay.<<<<---- can never exlplain herself..lol.

You explained it well to me atleast![8D]

Gosh Nay,

I know that feeling. Some times after I wake up, it takes a few moments but then I realise how UNLOGIC things where in my dreams, and I can slap myself in the face...

I think your dream is teaching you not to be scared of heights anymore. Then seeing the moon could be saying, "shoot for the moon", go for it.

Hi Nay,

I just replied yesterday to someone where I told of how I sometimes get almost lucid in some dreams. That is where I kind of get the feeling that I must be dreaming and "oh, look how weird this is". You also know, on some level, that it is a dream.

However, in these almost lucid scenarios, I never seem to get to the level of "lucid". That is, where you clearly know that you're dreaming within the dream, so you can clearly do something lucid.

So in your case, it reminds me of this almost lucid situation. It's frustrating because after you awake you think, why didn't I get off my non-physical butt and fly, jump, soar or whatever.

Very best,

Maybe I will start calling them Pre-lucid dreams...
And Flybynight, I was talking with my bestfriend about this today...and she said exactly the same thing!  Now if I could just get over that darn fear of heights...arrgghh.
You know...I just remembered something!!  We use to live at the base of the Sandia Mountains in New Mexico (when I was a kid)..and we always went hiking, climbing, and when my dad would bow hunt we would chase the deer or antelope towards my dad....hehe yeah, you heard me right, we were his pack dogs..I didn't mind.
Anyway, he stop taking me and finally he told me because he kept having this reaccuring dream where I would fall from a mountain and he could never stop it from happening, would always just end up with a clump of my hair.  Perhaps that was a past-life...and he was just the one remembering it???? Wow.. I think that is interesting!
See how it helps to talk about things???  I love it! thanks guys for listening and giving your thoughts!! [:D]

It happened again! LOL...  Early this morning, had another dream but this time I was in a Hair Salon. Was getting a hair cut and style..it cost FIFTY bucks..hehehe.  Anyway, they put me in the chair and it started spinning...and I mean.. FAST!  I was laughing, until I almost came flying out of it! I should have just flew right out of the chair, who knows what would have happened..[^] Well, I am here to learn..I guess one of these days I will go with the flow!  at least I wasn't scared one bit...but I was getting a little dizzy..ugh..I have real bad motion sickness..[xx(]
I was under the impression that in the astral it wouldn't effect me??
Perhaps I am thinking too physical??
What cha all think? Maybe I should go to the playground with the kids and spin, spin, spin on the swings?....hmmmmmm?

I have plenty of dreams where only AFTER I wake up do I realize it was a sign from my higher-self to wake up and get lucid!  Like this morning for example.
I am standing under this very tall tower thing (like a power line tower) There is a man in front of me all hook up to a grappling wire.  He is telling me that he does this all the time and not to be afraid..yeah, right.. You see I hate heights..lol. (I know.. ironic)
He starts to hook me up to somekind of harness. I am not into it, but he continues to tell me not to be afraid. I'm hooked up and we start shooting straight up!! I close my eyes and hold on for dear life!  Then we start spinning around and around.. I don't like it..hehehe. I think ok..this is way too fast for my liking.  We slow down and I know we are really high up there, I am scared to open my eyes, but I feel him say or someone say, open your eyes, don't be afraid... I do...wow! we are really high, and still spinning but alot slower, so I am able to look around at the landscape.  It was pretty and I was not so afraid now.
Then we start moving foward and swerving left then right almost like a roller coaster ride but not sitting in anything just hooked up to that harness.
We end up desending to the ground.  Wheww.. I sat down on the green plush grass just to collect myself. Then another man is sitting next to me and tells me to look at the moon.  I do..but what the????
It is red and has these little fluid white streaks of lights going around it..?? Hmmmmmmm.. I was fasinated by didn't know what to think. Then I woke up.
OK...The reason I think these were all signs were well...because one, the shooting straight up at a fast speed, isn't that a common feeling with people whom are APing?
Two, the spinning is another common experience.
And three, the moving foward above the ground..well..duh.

Now I have flown in lucid dreams and wasn't scared at all, but the difference with those is I start to levitate slowly then work up to the rest.
But if I have a dream about being on a mountain, tall wall, building, ect..ect... I am scared of falling...WHY??  It seems that most people on the forums LOVE to fly at top speeds...Geez am I the only one whom finds it scary?...perhaps this is alot of my problem?
I just don't know.[:(] I mostly wrote this out, hoping some answer would come to my head...I guess I just have to loose the fear and the next time I find myself on a mountain top...JUMP! and conquer my fears.
Thanks for listening..sorry it was long winded..lol.
