Here I'll be posting various dreams I've had over the past year, mostly taken from my dream journals and mainly including the ones that were particularly vivid or interesting.  This includes both ordinary-consciousness dreams and lucids/AP.  At some point I may also start posting highlights of pre-2013 experiences, once I get a chance to go through all those old journals.

I'm in an infrequently visited (but regular) dream locale by the sea shore.  With a group of friends and others, I'm investigating the ruins of an old civilization, mainly consisting of a gigantic bridge that is half-sunken into the water and covered by various sea life.  As we fly above the ruins of the bridge, an acquaintance tells me about a large island of seaweed that he has also been investigating.  Then we fly over to another portion of the bridge, closer to the shore.  Buildings located atop the bridge lead down into deep caverns that were once used for mining.  As we explore the caverns, a co-worker of mine shows me a narrow entrance to a tunnel where a large insect makes its lair, resembling a mix between a weevil and a scaly ant.  Also, this is the cave where my co-worker, when she was a child, raised a friendly dragon-like being with a snail-like shell on its back.  This being was her greatest friend as a girl, but she had to leave it behind due to some unfortunate incident.  In the cave I meet this dragon thing and speak to it briefly in its own non-human language.  It has a very loving, kind, feel to it.

notes:  This dream was interesting for several reasons.  It was fairly vivid in its appearance and feelings, giving me strong emotions of mystery and a feeling of discovery reminiscent of childhood or kids' movies.

A series of murders has been occurring.  The police suspect my girlfriend's half-brother of the crimes, who seems quite guilty since he admits to being a psychopath and a murderer.  However, I search his apartment with a group of people, finding several pieces of odd evidence that prove that he was not the killer at all.  Now the dream flashes back to the past, in the town of Sedona, Arizona.  I see visions of my girl and her brother as children, playing by the town's famous red rocks.  (My consciousness raises here, to the point of near-lucidity but not quite)  I look up at a plateau of rocks, seeing the house where the real murderer lives.  I easily climb up the rocks and get to the house (which I felt had been inaccessible before due to some kind of barrier), get inside and observe the killer plotting his deeds while I am hidden in one of his mechanical robot suits.  Afterwards, I lure him out of the house, where my 'team' and I defeat him in a battle.  Soon after this occurs, there is a huge shift in the dream reality, and it feels like great changes have occurred.  The geography of the land has changed, the time-line is different and even some people have changed their appearances and genders.

Notes:  this one had the feel of a 'story' kind of dream where most of it was from a 3rd person perspective, though at times I would also have the more common 1st person view and DID interact with things.  It also shows a common feature of some of my dreams, the 'team' of people I have around me, whose identities change.  They can often be family, friends, etc., but are sometimes others as well.  They do not have a constant presence but kind of orbit me like psychic satellites, appearing as needed.

I am the prophet Mohammed, in the dream a short stocky man, wandering through the dunes of a sandy desert land, on a long journey.  Eventually, I split into 2 selves, acquiring a kind of dual consciousness.  One self goes to a city in the desert and gets married to a woman he meets there.  The other self begins a pilgrimage of many holy sites throughout the land.  One holy site in particular is a grand step pyramid.  The pyramid is positioned so that it points to other, older, holy sites.  I follow one site to another and eventually discover a device that resembles a mix between a throne and a box.  It has some resemblance to the Ark of the Covenant, but is never identified as such.  The device is inset with several levers as well, and while the device itself is amazingly ancient, the levers appear to be new.  I know that the chair on it once held a statue of the Babylonian king Nimrod, and before him held an image of a certain pagan deity.  The device has a feeling of unspeakable mystery and oldness to it, as it would unlock some divine secrets.  I also recall that it once was held in a pyramid, but was adopted for Catholic use.  The scene now shifts to a Catholic looking cathedral, in a grand chamber where robed men are standing around and preparing to do a ritual with the chair-box-device.  There is a feeling of great profoundness here, but also a sinister aspect.  I attempt to leave, but the priests attempt to teleport me back inside, wishing to bind me to the device.  I can now feel many 'dark side' beings around me.  I refuse them, deciding to use some techniques to phase out of this reality and exit.  I soon shift out of this dream and enter another, less vivid dream where I talk to people I know about the dream.

Notes:  This dream took place on what I would call my 'M-Level' (the M stands for the feeling of Mystery pervading everything).  This dream level is one I usually enter earlier in the night, and often contains very epic, mythological experiences, along with feelings of intense profundity and revelation.  I find that this is often the toughest dream level to recall, and rarely leads to lucidity.  However, when I have launched lucid dreams or AP from here, they have been some of the best ones.

In this dream I'm a female, and not connected to my waking identity.  I go to a large home, where a gathering of people is happening.  There are machines around that allow people to enhance their psychic abilities and interact with a sort of spirit-world.  Speaking to a friend here, I discover that some time ago, he assisted another man in using the machine, but that something went wrong, causing him to be trapped in a place between worlds.  I agree to get hooked into one of the machines so I can go and assist the missing man's spirit.  I use the machine and get sent into a hallway that is filled with disembodied people that rapidly fly down various corridors.  I see the man who got lost earlier, but lose track of him as the hall is filled with odd lights and become blurry.  I manage to float above the area, entering a more wide-open space where I land on a floating platform that has a majestic view of the landscape below.  (in an almost lucid state)  On the platform I meet two men; of them cocky and sarcastic, the other one more intimidating.  They both give off bad vibes, but try and convince me to join them in whatever they're doing.  Feeling annoyed with them, I lift them up with telekinetic powers and hurl them into the sky.  I soon shift back into the house I was in earlier, but find myself nude (and still female), though I manage to get clothing from a friend here.  Soon awake to another dream.

Notes:  Interesting dream due to the near-astral consciousness during a part of it, though never leading to full lucidity or a conscious exit.

This one has an 'alternate reality' type of vibe to it.  Experience what feels like the life of a child, living with his mother and siblings.  We dwell inside of a building of living matter, where sphincter-like doors separate the various rooms and even what you would call appliances are living devices of a type of bio-technology.  We sleep inside of organic pods also serve a cleaning function for us.  I also experience a type of technology that lets us slip into different types of bodies, such as one that is spider-like and can move rather quickly.  Overall, this experience of an 'other life' is very vivid and does not contain familiar dream signposts.  Feels like a rather simple and peaceful life.
