Interestingly enough someone just posted about orange in the obe disscussion.

In the world in general and in this nation
May not even the names disease, famine, war, and suffering be heard.
May virtuous qualities, merit, and prosperity greatly increase
And may continuous good fortune and subline well-being perfectly arise.

i'm not going to try and explain what they are or why you're having them but, i will suggest you spend some time thinking about them and remembering that the next time that happens, no matter what, you are dreaming.  it will make for a good lucid dream induction.

unless of course that really does happen and you're trying to settle everyone down by telling them that they are all dreaming. :)  but hey, if you're going to die anyway....maybe it doesnt matter.

Hi Mandy,

Recurring dreams are usually either the subconcious trying to deal with something that just isn't sitting right, or your higher self trying to get a message through to you. Either way you'd do well to start by going to a local library and try to dig up some info on dream interpretation. Something might jump out at you and bring it all together, or you may already have a hunch as to what it is about, in which case definitely go with that hunch. Subtle hints are often the best we'll get from dreams and it is up to us to act on them.

I'm sorry I don't know enough about dream interpretation to guide you here, but I'd say your getting a message that's important enough to make you sit up and take notice.

I'd certainly not think about it as anything prophetic. If you do, well... sorry, you'd better get in the long line behind all the others prediciting the end of the world. http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_wink.gif" border=0>

Dream on...
James.

Well it's either literal or symbolic... if its literal, we're all gunna die :)
If not, try out this interpretation and see if it fits.
If you know anything about chakras or Eastern beliefs, orange is related to the sacral chakra, a nonphysical spot near your belly button.  Physically it relates to digestion and the organs in that area.
To interpret a dream, break it down into its simplest form:
orange light causing destruction, possibly death.
If this does relate to a part of your body, maybe it's a health issue you need to think about.
From http://www.jwdavies.com/sacral.htm :
Attributes: Creativity, sexual energy (for women), desire, pleasure.

When Unbalanced you may experience: Sexual problems, jealousy, possesiveness, uterine or bladder problems, lower back pain.

To Awaken and Balance: Sexual healing, try new ways of expressing yourself creatively, dance, move your hips, practice yoga.

If you know nothing about the chakras, it wouldn't make much sense for your subconsious to use it as a symbol, so it could still be something else more personal to you.

By the way.. recurring dreams are never about something small and unimportant.  It's something that's eating away at your subconscious and won't go away on it's own too easily.  This is definitely something worth pondering on.

I keep having a reaccuring dream, I have had this dream 3 times over the past 2 years which i can remember, the dreams are a little different in the way they appear but they all end the same.
The world is being blown up & there is always a bright orange light which is what is the cause of the world blowing up.
For example the first dream was a sattelite shooting orange light down to earth & blowing things up, the 2nd was helicopters shooting orange light down to earth blowing everything up & the third was like the world opening up to a bright orange light which meant the end of the world. I always wake up just before I die. I wake up shaking.
Can anybody explain why I'm having these dreams?
