Hi fellows,

As part of my dream recollection exercises I'm trying to remember a four to five digit number from one of my dreams.
Have you been successful recollecting large numbers, preferably with the digits all different?
One more thing, does this number mean anything to you, 50276? It appeared while I was in the hypnagogic state.

Thank you :-)

Years ago I dreamed a long number, wrote it down, and around twenty years later, I saw it 'in person' -it was a total with the date written down and given to me, in a job I used to have (in which I received numbers written down in a piece of paper.)  I was uber-excited at figuring out finally what the number was, although nothing else happened that day.
The meaning?  That some part of me knew something that was going to happen in the future, even if it was quite pedestrian.
Why?

Thanks for sharing that experience. It's not the first time that I've heard reports about dream premonitions. Without getting off topic here, do you believe in a fatalist universe, our paths are already predetermined? Or that our current actions might shape the possible future events, just like many possible threads?

Something in between.  I believe that the universe has rules as to what's possible (which sounds deterministic) but that we can choose how we meet the limitations we have created.  As you may have gathered, I believe we choose to incarnate in this type of universe (with near-infinite possibilities) knowing that we're going to have the above mentioned limitations.
Someone (somewhere) was talking about energy and information either being preexistent or not- it seems to me that the energy is preexistent (that is, it can't be created or destroyed, just recycled- but what we can do with this energy is where the fun is- information is where creation is, and that is, as close to probabilistically infinite as it can be.
My opinion, of course.
Why?

I am not into the fate stuff. If our fate is already determined, what is the point of being here? Aside from watch-movie-like experience, which is I believe not that valuable.
