Hi,
Sorry for posting this specific message as my introduction, but this is the reason I joined the forum.
Sometimes after a bad dream that I force myself out of or sometimes after a good dream that I'm trying to control, I wake up and see a floating black ball above me. It looks like a ball of moving black wires or a ball of yarn (but not so dense or fuzzy). As it happens as I wake up, I originally ignored it as an optical illusion. I don't think so anymore.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
Thanks,
Montoya
Can you see through the ball or is it to dense. It sound like energy maybe what you are making you should try and move it with your thoughts and see if it reacts.

It does not appear to be too dense to see through, though it's dark in the room so I don't see much. If I fix my gaze to see if it will move without my own eye movement, it drifts slowly away. Once I thought it was very close to me and got scared. I stared directly at it and thought very loudly "what do you want?!" and it shot away very quickly.
This was the instance that finally drove me to this forum.

It seems that it was so-called "negative entity". I saw them many times after having nightmares and it seems that they are spirits feeding of energy of fear caused by nightmares. It is possible that they can cause nightmares too, but it could be that they are just attracted to the energy of fear.
Thanks for the reply. Any place online to read more about these negative entities -- are they a part of what I saw referred to as "astral wildlife" on a site somewhere?

There are many articles on www.astraldynamics.com .
I think it is linked with the fear from the dream as well.
P.S.: Try flicking the light on and see if it remains.
The feeling / entity might go away.
