Hello everyone,

I am very new to all of this and have been trying to have an obe for about a month now.

I had something strange happen last night and wanted to see if anyone could help me identify what it was i experienced:
I "woke up" in the middle of the night but found myself out of my body, i couldnt see my body but i felt so light and soo good and i jjust kind of "knew" i wasnt in my body. All around me was darkness but i found myself looking at this one bright light. I then  heard a voice saying that the light wanted to tell me something if i chose to listen. For some reason i said i wasnt ready and i immediately thought i wanted to be back in my body. I felt this STRONG vibration, nothing like i have EVER felt before,  opened my physical eyes and found myself in my bedroom.

My first thought after opening my eyes was "what the hell was that!!??" but at the same time i regretted choosing to go back before listening to the light..

Was it just a dream or could it have been an obe? Im really confused and would appreciate any of your insight.

Hi and welcome to the Pulse.
Sounds like you're doing well enough. These experiences feel strange when compared to the normal daily routine. Yours is quite typical. Being new your answer is too.
Try again and go with it. There's nothing to be afraid of, only yourself that is.
You can ask for help as well even if you can't see anyone. They'll be there soon enough giving you info etc.
Next time get away from your sleeping body by 30 feet or more, it will give you more clarity.
Have fun.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Thank you for your answer Szaxx - it felt strange but like roman said I enjoyed it! I look forward to more experiences, being in that moment felt truly amazing.
