These negative projections and dreams are beginning to become a habit..  I'm wondering if this is happening for a reason..

As you will see, in the beginning of my dream it was pretty choppy, and I know I had another dream before this one, because I can still get bits and pieces of it.  but as I went on in this dream, I start getting lucid more and more.

Was in a room full of ppl, I think mostly females.  Lights were out and not working.  I had a flashlight.  When I shown the light on the open door, Freddy Gruger (sp?) came at me.  He was yelling something and rushing at me, I can't remember what he said.

He was trying to scare me but I wouldn't budge.  He then went back out into the hallway.  I was distracted by something off to my right, but before I had the chance to figure it out, Freddy came running back at me.  He was trying to scare me again.

This happened several times and that is when I started wondering if it was going to be one of  those dreams, the repetitive ones, the, holy crap I'm stuck in a loop again, dream.   I was pretty lucid at this point and he came in once again, and once again I shown the flashlight on his face and stood my ground.  I nearly started laughing because he seemed disappointed and sad that I wasn't moving.. it was quite humorous seeing Freddy's sad face and feel this emotion from him, while looking the way he does, not to mention what he represents.

Once again he leaves the room.  I then realize, without actually seeing them (I believe this was the distraction from the right earlier but I wasn't lucid enough) that there was a mob of people outside and they wanted his hide.  At the same moment Freddy comes rushing back into the room, almost in tears and starts saying,  "you've got to help me, you've got to help me!"    :locolaugh:  I couldn't believe it!  I then chuckled, slapped him lightly on the arm and said, "yeah, come on, I'll help ya get out"

I then woke up..  So, next time you see Nightmare on Elm street, remember.......Freddy is just as scared as we are. :rolling:

What would have happened if he killed you in the dream?

I like it.

Next time you are lucid Nay, will you please think of me and send some of your lucidity over, 'cause I could sure do with some more for the following types of dreams...

I don't know why but I keep having my "this is getting out of hand, time to wake up dreams" of late.  These are obviously partially lucid because I know I can wake up (therefore I know I'm dreaming).  However, that's about as lucid as I get.  They seem to be getting more and more serious - and I'm assuming it's because I'm not facing the fear...

I had this last night, but only remembered it at 5.30pm today driving home from work.

I was trying to get home and the underground system either wasn't working due to delays, or I couldn't find the correct train.  After a long frustrating sequence of climbing stairs and finding elevators and so on (it was so long, it actually got boring), I was finally on a train.  I wanted to go to Stamford Bridge (which is the football ground of Chelsea F.C. - possibly because I was aware that they only managed to draw at the weekend against Charlton) but I was at Embankment Bridge (London based but not sure where this is from).  I realised I'd got on the wrong train and I was now totally lost.

Then, some youths were in my carriage.  They were standing near me with flick-knives.  They were messing around and being "youthful" but I sensed danger, and I sensed I was an easy target.  Ha ha, so I started showing fear.... guess what happened next.

They were surrounding me.  Here's the part where I got very vaguely lucid.  I decided in the dream that enough was enough and that I'd face one of them.

It was now just me and this one guy.  He had the flickknife up against his face and was grinning.  I had no defence, no weapon, except the knowledge that I was about to wake up, using my usual "shake my head violently" technique.

I did it (shook my head violently in the dream, and awoke shaking my physical head), but found myself still in the dregs of the dream, so I shook my head again and fully awoke, a bit stunned.

I'm beginning to think that I'm refusing to face something and every time I force myself awake simply means that the situations will get worse and worse until I DO something about it during the dream.

Now I've realised that - wish me luck everyone...

We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

Dingo: Not sure, I suppose I would do what I've done before.... float out of my body and find myself in darkness, then wake up.

Sarah: Sounds like you were about to go postal on him!  :violent:  Just keep on trying and good-luck!

Nay,

How sad for Freddy.  Usually repetitive dreams like go lucid very quickly for me.  More so when some one pulls that kind of crap on me.  It tends to get the brain working more.  I find it kinda funny to think of Freddy being sad and afraid to the point of asking for help.  I thought it was interesting too that you decided to help him.

Selski,

Having those kinds of dreams suck.  But you have to try and remember one thing when you start to get any kind lucidity.  It's your dream damn it.  Don't let whoever screw it up.
