Hey, welcome to the forums!

All of these questions only you can answer, but I can tell you about my perspective.

1. Lucid dreaming is not only about dream control. To be aware that you are dreaming while it is happening gives you the opportunity to explore a world of possibilities, and to have a direct communication with your subconscious mind. It may help you overcome fears by learning how to deal with the situations that the dream presents you, and that would probably help you in your daily life.

What lucidity really gives you is control of your own thoughts and actions, and doesn't let you be subjugated by the images.

2. Your mind is there, your body is asleep.

3. Does that make any difference?

4. It may be that the place exists, but it's best to be cautious and always question what you see.
Where does this silence come from?

Dear Birm,

Your questions are too personal and transcendental to be asked in this forum. Please take yourself a little more seriously. I'm sure there's someone in your community who you trust and respect in matters of the spirit that can help you.

Thanks for your replies.
First of all i have to tell you that i started training on these abilities. I read books about it. I read experiences. I realize that all of these things were in my life but i never cared about them. I said to myself that these are the games my subconcious mind plays with me.

So i read about the methods and started training. I used the rope method and it didnt work. so i concentrated on sleeping but i never let my self into it. Then i got in to the astral dimension. And every experience i am having now is just as the books' say.

But i need more development. i need to work on remembering and getting out of it before falling asleep.

I am very happy because on my first trial i did what i wanted to. And i realized i always do this but never remember.

In my opinion the best thing in the astral is to bring your favorite music band in front of you and watch them as they play.

I wonder if i will be able to see the future again. But i want to have control over it this time...

Anyway, Thank you guys for your generous help for taking me serious and encouraging me.
That's allright... I am OK. This happens every single day... It's all the same... But I am not blind!

What is your deal, Mirador?  Why do you insist on trying to get people to leave the forum?  Time to pull off the mask...and go back to where YOU came from..

Nay.

I just cant understand why you are angry with mirador... His/her post contained nothing to get me out of these forums. He was just right about my questions were personal. i followed his/her advice and asked the same questions to a friend of mine. And she told a lot about these things. She is experienced on these things. I am now conciously OBE'ing... That was an easy thing for me to learn. Also i can see that my abilities are strong. But i need more practice... I am working on it... please support me...

If you're interested in dreaming of the future, you should keep a journal of your dreams. You should write your dreams down everyday. Even if you don't recall your dream, you should at least try to write something down. ...a lingering emotion, a color, a setting.

What you'll find is that you dream of the future all the time. When you dream, it's only a suggestion of a future event. For example, if you dreamed of a car crash and were lucid enough to catch details of the event, (like the street name) you might be smart enough to trust your dream and avoid that road.

Advice should always be sought wherever it may be found. It is the seeker's responsibility to carefully weigh each piece of advice and determine if it's good and if it should be incorporated in one's spiritual development.

lucid dancer thanks for your comments... I just dont want to see the future at all. It sometimes happens to me thats all. What i really want to do is to explore the astral planes and see if i can meet someone that i could ask questions. I also wonder if i will be able to meet a friend of mine in the same projection. And ah! there is one more thing. I want to project while my eyes open. And see if i can move around and see through things. I am working hard on these...

1. Why would i want to control my dreams since they give me clues about future?

Having control over yourself in the dream would allow you to aquire more details about the dream.  In the case of future events this would be extra helpful in gaining info on avoiding prolems if need be, and various other things like that.  Try watching the tv show "dead zone", it would explain it to you fairly well.

2. When i start to take control of my dreams i happen to be waking up because i know that i am not there. But how? Am i there or not?

I have this same problem.  I become aware most of the time when I dream, and most of the time when this happens the dream ends.  From what I have learned it's  a stability issue.  Your brain has to get over certain issues it has with functioning in the dream states.

3. Sometimes while i am falling into sleep i hear nasty big noises, and sometimes loud music. Twice i heard someone speaking to me. I got scared at all times and i hardly tried to wake up. I had no control over these sounds... And they only tell me things that makes no sense. Am i talking to my self or is this a game my subconcious mind plays with me?

This is really common.  It is a sign of projection, or more acurately, it is a sign that your consiousness is expanding.  Some thing you need to do anyhow to project or lucid dream.  The noises being heard can be anything from your own mind to some one else tring to talk to you or just talking.  You get used to it.

4. When i dream the same dream after a while; exactly the same place appears. I know that i had never been to such a place. Do that place exist in the real world? Should i look for a place like that in real life?

You could try.  The only thing is unless it is a preminition, that being a dream of future "physical" events, the place most likely does not exist.  It is possible to create a dream or astral location.  The more you use this location the more detailed it becomes.  It also begins to feel more real, like it could exist in the physical.

Anyhow,  Those are my thoughts on the subject.

cainam_nazier i really appreciate to hear your thoughts.

Actually seeing the future is not some sort of seeing symbolic visions for me. Because when i see the future i actually see what happens in the real world like i am watching T.V. in my first person view. But i cant quite figure out which dream is about future. I see these real life sequences in my dreams and after a while (a week or so) it just happens. When it is happening in reality i have no control over the things that happening. It lasts for about 10 minutes. And it is like i am getting on a bus and buying a bus ticket. Or i walk in a place i have never been before.

I just want to have control over these experiences. Like i want to say "this is going to happen"

A year ago i saw myself in my friends room. We were sitting and chatting. I saw the picture on the wall fell down. A week later i went to my friends house, we sat together and i felt the same smell, same sounds, same conversations and suddenly i said "The picture will fall" and it fell. So i proved my self that i can see sequences of future...

Now i am currently OBE'ing every night and trying to improve my skills on it.

Hi there...
I have a few questions to you guys... All my life i had dreams that i remembered. All my life i tried to wake while i am about to fall into sleep because of some big noise or fearful vision. Twice i experienced my dreams happening in real life exactly i saw them... And now i found this site and read about the concepts of dreaming and such.

Now I want to ask about these...
1. Why would i want to control my dreams since they give me clues about future?
2. When i start to take control of my dreams i happen to be waking up because i know that i am not there. But how? Am i there or not?
4. When i dream the same dream after a while; exactly the same place appears. I know that i had never been to such a place. Do that place exist in the real world? Should i look for a place like that in real life?

Thats all for now. Thanks in any advance...
