I often have very lucid dreams of visiting the world of spirit.
Not actually of visiting this actual world but seeing those who have passed over.
Family and good friends.

They are very vivid always show themselves very clearly.    The room I am taken to each time,is the same room.   A large room with a large table set with food,in the middle of the room.
Cups, saucers and plates are set out.   Ladies serving but to be honest I have never ever seen anyone eat or drink.

There is a door in this room but I am not allowed to go through it.
My late husband always accompanies me.   I don't see him clearly but know it is him by my side.

Each time there is a death in my family,I meet with them in this room.    My last relative was my young grandson.

It has been suggested to me that I am Astral travelling.     Would this be correct?

If you ask a question you cannot answer and the given answer can be verified later then you have met them. This means you were 'astral'.
It would be interesting if you can ask to meet them while meditating, if the meeting is made, the question can be asked.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

I understand what you mean.    The dreams are too clear for them to be dreams.
Also I am acknowledged by those I see there. They raise their hand to me or wave in happiness that I can see them.

Thank you,Szaxx.....

I believe that you are indeed visiting the zone where you're allowed to go to (without dying) and commune with the dead.  I think the clear barrier (you're not supposed to go through the door) is to me the indication that this is so- when I meet my departed, there is always a clear barrier, and a symbolic setting with an 'over there', an 'over here', a place where both of us can go, and a barrier I know I can't cross.  The symbols vary, but the meaning is pretty clear.
In my case I received information that let me know this wasn't just a dream.
Was this food for you?  I ask because before, I have been told that food in a dream is either energy or information- offering you food is offering you some sort of information- so maybe if you 'eat' it, you'll receive some sort of information that will let you know what the message is, (if any).
Good luck.

CFTraveller,thanks so much....

I am very much the same as you.    My last experience proved to me that I was indeed visiting the spirit world and like you was only to allowed to go so far.

This experience involved a soldier who had been in the Korean war.    He would have been in old age now.    My husband was also in that war and the two of them had been good friends.   They lost touch after the Korean war ended.

As usual standing beside my husband in this room, I saw a young soldier enter the room, looking about in his twenties.    He was in Australian army uniform.    He looked dirty and tired as if returning from battle.

My husband walked over  to talk to him.   Evidently knowing him well.
Suddenly I knew who this soldier was,he was the friend my husband talked about many years ago.
But he was appearing as the young soldier from the Korean battle.
I investigated this through the Veteran's Assoc.    I was told this young soldier was indeed my husband's mate from long ago and he had died in a nursing home aged in his 80's!

That was my proof that I was indeed part way into the spirit world.....

My first real proof of leaving the physical body to visit the place which is called the Spirit World.....

Have seen my husband once.    A very vague figure dressed in casual clothes but his old aussie hat on presumably to prove who he was...
Always did have a sense of humour.....

thanks, you good folk......for your encouragement....
