hello my name is ryan im 17yrs old. i recently had a strange dream happen.simply(i dont wish to tell my dream description they are mine and who i share them with if i choose to is my business)i had a normal average dream then it blacked out like i woke up well i woke up was exactly how i was when i fell asleep and started to write in my dream journal and was recalling my dream from my memory and even had mental images of the dream then i started to lose focus and things started to blurr and kinda spin as if i was really tired and disoriented and blacked out again then woke up in the same position as before got up talked for a second then got some food and ate and presumes the exact same task as before and the spinning tired sensation came again.      my general question is is it common to have a double false awakening?? and in the middle of the day and only after 30-45 min of sleep?? and why did i start to feel the tired spinning sensation? and finally how come i could recollect my first dream just as i was conscious, because i was not lucid by any means i was convinced it was reality cause when i finally woke up i was afraid it was gonna happen again.

You had a Chain. Its typical. Chains consist often of more than 5 out of body experiences in a row. Your experiences took place out of the body.

It is also typical, that the experiences of the chains are false awakenings. But this concerns only the first experiences of a chain. If such a chain consist of false awakenings, is the doubt about beeing really awake or not increasing with every experience.

The disoriented sensation is also a typical phenomenon of out of body experiences and dreams which are acted out of the body. It causes a wake up or a change of situation and enviroment. It depends how calm one is during the occurence.

This phenomenon can occur suddenly during out of body experiences and some out of body experience-dream combinations. One will be weakened then by sudden dizzyness, tingling, energy boosts, nausea and other disturbing till unpleasant sensations. Usually one goes then to the ground or falls over. In that process blackens also often the field of view. That means, that everything will go black (or rarely also white through brighten of the field of view). The view can also get blurred or foggy. Unfortunately one gets because of that quickly nervous  and wakes due this nervousity mostly up.Then one finds oneself mostly in a sleep paralysis. This experience is absolutely harmless and can occur on many occasions, which are often not noticed. If one keeps calm and knows that it is harmless, it also feels not so bad as if one does not know it. So staying calm and wait is the best thing one can do. This phenomenon fades mostly away by itself. This experience can also be initiated intentionally. One possibility is to make an out of body experience attempt during the dream.
