i wanted to share this interesting dream i had, i was in a room with 2 of my friends, i found 4 $1 bills on the ground and told my friend about them, he took them and wouldn't share them with me, he was being pretty selfish about it, then i told found some more $1 bills on the ground and told my other friend about them, she took them for her self and wouldn't share them with me either....so i was like bah, whatever, so i went hunting for money and i kept finding $5 bills at first, then i kept finding $10 bills, i must have found at least $400, and i was like i sure am not sharing this with my friends!  the thing about this dream is that I'm not sure how it pertains to my every day life, i just got a job but i didn't get the part about my friends not sharing with me and me ending up with all the money, maybe it will make sense later on in my life? not sure

Hi nwb

I used to have a similar dream fairly regularly when I was younger.  I'd find coins on the floor, just a few of them.  But then further along, there would be more coins.  After a while, I'd have quite a tidy sum!

I've no idea what my dreams meant, but they stopped after a couple of years or so.

You might want to think about what money represents to you, and your emotions about it.  This may help when trying to work out your friends' reactions.

Also with regard to your friends in the dream, don't see them as your 'separate' friends, but think of them as aspects of you and try to work out what each friend represents about yourself.

For instance, I have someone who appears in my dreams from time to time.  I used to be in the same class as her at school, many years ago.  She was very good looking and popular in class.  I was never friends with her, but to me she represents my vanity and wish to be accepted.  So when I dream of her, I look at the whole dream using these emotions rather than thinking to myself, "oh another dream about so-and-so".

Maybe this can help you figure out what your dream was about. This is from a book I own called, "Dream Dictionary".

Here is only a little bit about what holding onto money means in a dream.

Holding onto money: feeling insecure, or being 'tight' emotionally or sexually.
I know dreams are important. I always wonder how I can use them to help myself.

Hahha, funny. Interesting book, I'm going to get one, since deciphering dreams may sometimes be extremely difficult.

You, more of a giver than a taker, told 2 so called friends, about money which they selfishly keep all to themselves. You in anger and a little hurt the 3rd time found way more money. You smartly didn't share with your selfish friends. Real life, there is nothing wrong with being a giver, but look at the signs. Are you in give/give relationships? there has to br flow here, or you will be drained and no time for you. And I agree on a dream dictionary. Good Luck.
