Rebellion against a powerful ruler

A few nights ago I had a dream which I thought was rather neat. It took place on a very small planet (possibly just an asteroid with an atmosphere). In this dream I was the leader of this world.

At the beginning of the dream I am looking out the window of a palace. I see through the clouds that a massive black sphere is moving by. As it gets closer the planets orbit changes and it starts moving towards the black shape. As we get closer to the shape I see that there is a massive cannon on the surface of it.

After an hour or my planet is orbiting the black sphere and I see ships moving towards my planets atmosphere. When the ships get into the atmosphere they drop a portal to the black sphere on the planet and someone claiming to be the ruler of that sphere stepped out of the portal and said that he was going to either destroy the planet and kill everyone on it or we could surrender and we would be taken as slaves. I don't remember what I said exactly but I know it had something to do about how were not going to surrender.

He became mad and stepped into the portal to his sphere. I then address the planet on what had just happened and I organized all who would volunteer into a military force to fight against them. Soon the person stepped through the portal and said that he was sending his own military force to kill everyone and that it is not too late to become his slaves. I again chose not to surrender so he left and sent war ships to the surface of my planet.

My military launched an attack against these ships as soon as they landed on the surface and everyone on his side was destroyed. After this I saw that the cannon on the surface of the black sphere was beginning to charge as there was massive amounts of energy moving towards it, gathering into a massive red sphere. He soon came down to the planet again to check that his military force had succeeded in killing everyone.

He was enraged at what he saw as his entire military force was laying on the ground dead. He said that we would all soon die anyways. I replied saying something that I cannot say here as it would be edited out by the mods. He went back to his black sphere and the energy in the cannon started expanding and gaining strength. Someone walked up into my palace and said "Are we all about to die, sir?" and I replied saying it was are only choice now that we killed his military.

Soon the red energy had become three times as large as my planet and it started moving towards it at an incredible speed. I remember thinking "I'm about to die now, aren't I?" The red sphere got closer and all the water in all the lakes and seas evaporated. All the trees caught fire. And then I remember someone saying "I guess this is it for us." The red sphere touched the surface of the planet and exploded and then my body evaporated and a few seconds later I was reincarnated on what I thought was a nearby asteroid that was doomed to the same fate. At this point I thought "Shouldn't I be on the astral plane by now?"

That was a dream from Saturday morning. That was the first dream that I could remember since November of 2006. I think I'm getting more energy since I'm trying to astral project (and rather successfully  ) again.

Hey, thank you for sharing that! These experiences people have posted these last few days have really inspired me to start writing something very cool, they have given me great ideas.
