The dream I had last night

I just thought I'd share it, since I enjoyed it so much. I might start keeping a dream diary now.

I don't remember what happened beforehand, but I do remember that I was in a building with Frasier and Niles (characters from the sitcom Frasier) and they were arguing about something.

Suddenly, Niles said, "Steve Irwin's not funny any more." And then I went outside and saw Steve Irwin and his daughter, Bindi. Steve was walking away, quite fast, along the path, and both Bindi and I were hurrying to keep up with him. We caught up to him, and the three of us joined hands (I think Bindi was in the middle.) I suggested we sing that song from The Wizard of Oz - We're Off to See the Wizard. And that's what we did. The three of us walked along, singing, "We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz."

Then I woke up. I would have liked the dream to continue. But I enjoyed it very much, as I like Steve a lot. And I'm beginning to treat dreams more seriously now, and as real experiences. I really do believe that what happens in our dreams is real - it's just that our subconscious has taken over, and we're in another world. And I believe that when you meet dead people in dreams, you really are meeting them for real - that your souls, or consciousnesses have found each other.

We weren't actually in Oz...I'm not sure where we were. Steve, Bindi and I were just walking together in the way that Dorothy, the Tin Man and the Scarecrow did, which is why I suggested we sing the song.

It was nice to see Steve. It was cool to see Frasier and Niles too. I hope to have more dreams of a similar nature.
