Wow, wow, what a dream last night! Very vivid and one of a kind so far!
I was with a group of people that seemed familiar spiritually speaking. I knew them somehow, but I could not recognize them physically. We were working in a garden in front of a large mansion like house. We noticed that something wasn't right, the weather was changing rapidly, things were changing around us. We realized that someone from the group has accelerated time and has turned Earth itself into a giant time machine and we were flying though time. We started yelling at that person, why are you dong this, stop it. The person was a female and said "No way, I am sick of this BS, I am bypassing this crazy time". We watched the environment changing around us fast, buildings, vegetation. Exactly like in the movie "The Time Machine". I thought to myself, well maybe that's a god thing, but we are running away from the issues. Then we started noticing older and older style buildings, we thought we will see more modern environment as we were going into the future. Then, the person navigating the time thing stopped it to go and get something to eat LOL. So, we were in a jungle type of environment and all of a sudden a bunch of dinosaurs appeared and started running towards us. We all yelled "dinosaurs, hurry up and get us out of here". She managed to return quickly and we realized that we are going into the past, not into the future. We yelled again "what are you dong, we are going backwards". She said with a cool tone "You need to go back in order to go further". Then I woke up and I felt all frozen and paralyzed out of fear of these dinosaurs haha. This dream was so real and so unusual, but noting scrambled like dreams many times appear. This one had a clear story that followed.

It sounds like another Rock-ish adventure (Dwayne Johnson, aka the Rock). This time it's his movie Jumanji that you are reliving, lol!  :-D

I really enjoy those "Time Travel" adventures. I wrote a thread on the Astral pulse years ago on a few of my favorite ones!  :-)

Ha, I did not think of that, but you are right! The physical appearance change, the jungle, dinosaurs and changing environment. Totally Jumanji haha. Now, I am intrigued what is the connection  :?

I don't know what the connection could be here. Possibly it's a welcomed "time out" of sorts!  :?

For the past few nights I have also been having a "time out" from all of the negative Dream scenarios I have found myself in. These experiences seem to be based around a wrestler as well. This lady though is a mix between Alexa Bliss (the wrestler) and Harlequin, the Margo Robbie version. What always makes them so bizarre is being in a younger body but with the same mindset as this physical reality here. The mindset being based  on the age I currently am in this reality here.

When they happen we should just enjoy them and Thank You!  :-)

oh, actually I love when that happens! I've had several APs where I found myself as a child reliving certain memories, most of them great memories, but this time I actually knew who I was from a present point of view but with a child's body. During those experiences my excitement and thrill was off the charts, because I knew that I was reliving sweet memories, but my joy was a million  times greater just because I retained my memories of my grown up self. Too bad, in this reality we have chosen to repress memories of the past, so we start from scratch every time. But all for a purpose of course. Fortunately, we have discovered the secret of the multiverse and the secret of existence and through those precious APs we can actually do and experience many magical things!

Something else I thought of. The words of that female who navigated the time in my dream " You need to go back in order to go further". Actually have great wisdom if you think about it. We need to evaluate our past, our behavior, beliefs, where did these beliefs come from, are they false, are they holding us back. All that past needs to be processed in order for us to move forward and eliminate these road blocks that have been spread on our path as a result of our past actions.

I just wrote this in another thread here and I think it's relevant to your above post too.

"We have a new understanding of experiences than we had in the past, today. We can look back and see why things "played out" the way they did. That's growth in nutshell there!   :-) You get to see where all the puzzle pieces fit together and where they may have went a bit astray. Its like reading a book with all the series of "acts" in them, but in this case this book is the story of "your" life. A autobiography of sorts!   :-)"

Love love love your experience LB. You and T-Man's are so similar and both your interpretations are spot on. I feel like now we are getting somewhere in these discussions. Aint it great to be moving again? Feels like I'll catch up to yall before I know it.

It surely feels like there is movement again! By the way, I just watched "Jumanji The Next Level" again. I watched in in theaters when it firs came out. I forgot how funny it was. I had a great laugh tonight. I recommend for everyone to watch it. It's just a great escape from regality. But when they kept saying "we are in a game and these are just avatars, characters" I thought, yep, this applies for us here in this reality. Our lives are exactly characters/avatars in a game. There is no difference at all. The only difference is that in the movie they know it, but here in our game, only about 2% of characters know it. But I will say it again, this memory suppression is as well a part of this particular game :). Isn't the multiverse magnificent!

How incredibly interesting! i discovered Jumanji several years late but enjoyed it immensely; the sequel with the Rock was equally good. It is a narrative that makes for a great NP teaching format as LB has found and I think that I have experienced parts of it...it is a quite useful teaching format...

It is interesting how certain time-particular films serve as backdrops to our NP learning. It is all so contextual...phew! Lol.

My god, I still get riddles within cartoons...what am I to make of these? It goes from serious to absurd...

It is a 'welcomed time out' but also a learning experience...another wonderful dichotomy and anachronism...
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

Oh my God, don't get me started on the damn Cartoon worlds and entities within them, lol!  :-D I have weeks on end where I am getting bombarded in my LDs by some kind of Cartoon Universe.  ...and yes they have all kinds of riddles lying within them!  8-) Just another way of getting the lesson across I guess!

Oh please, lol. The cartoon world drives me nuts! Fortunately I'm not often dragged there and if they turn up now or the near future I'm blaming you guys. :-D

Haven't seen Jumanji now in years so would definitely have to refresh my viewing before stating anything. But I recently watched "The Shack". I HIGHLY suggest it to all of you if you haven't seen it or even if you have. It's a Christian movie but the entire premise is exactly what we talk about here. Time is definitely fluid and The Shack points this out so well but its very subtle.

It was EV's fault, lol! He brought it up first!  :-D

Yes , when I think of movies that kind of define what we talk about here on the Pulse, "The Shack" comes to mind. The content and context was done quite well. It was a real "tear jerker" too. MJ and I watched it a few years back. I found it in line with the Robin William's/Cuba Jr. Gooding movie "What Dreams May Come". The Writers of these Movies had to have been "in the know"!  :-)

Here's the Trailer to it:

I've had some dreams in the cartoon universe as well but surprisingly non of them have been Lucid ones!  Some have been quite vivid but I would love to experience them Lucid! LOL!

I have also listened to the audiobook for 'The Shack' and saw the movie.  I enjoyed them both but thought the audiobook was better.  Book versions are usually the better of the two.

I did see "What Dreams May Come" but had forgotten the name of the movie, so thanks Lu. Certainly fits in and yes those writers are certainly tapped in. So it's EVs fault Lu? Okay, I'll blame him but you know he's gonna blame you, right? LOL

I read The Shack book as well years ago. Agreed T-Man I almost always find the books better. It's really nice to see them turned into well done movies as well. So many people don't read books that's great they can see these concepts on the screen.

ETA: LOL, T-Man. No you don't! Meaning no you don't want to have a lucid cartoon dream. Just kidding but don't say you haven't been warned!

The Cartoon Universe doesn't have the Cartoon characters that we know of like the Roadrunner/Wyle E. Coyote, Donald Duck, etc. It seems to be a World or kind of plane, per se, that is entirely in "Technicolor". The colors seem to be way more enhanced then the ones here in this physical reality are. Another thing that you really have to experience yourself to understand what I am saying!

Totally agree with way more vibrant colors on many of my APs. However, mine are more fantasy world oriented t=than associated with cartoon stories. I have been to Narnia, Harry Potter World, Lord of the Rings realities several times each actually. Absolutely epic experiences. Long too.

Yes, like I say, it's hard to explain, but using the term "fantasy oriented" fits here nicely. ...and they definitely are epic and lengthy as well!  8-) They can takes on a number of "genres".

Judging by the replies here, it seems this is another thing that many, if not all of us, have in common!  :-)

Wow! I hate to divert even slightly from LB's excellent post on the possible influence of movies on and within our NP experiences...but we need a whole new thread on what I will label as the Cartoon Network Universe of NP experiences.

And I thought it was just me....lol!
