The Spider "Dream"

They are simply spider entities that sometimes people can see but other times cant, it depends on the persons state of mind. Whether they exist in the Astral I dont know but they do exist on some level and when a persons perception increases, the 6th sense so to speak, can detect them. Children tend to be to the most likely people to see them.

It's said that young children can readily see auras. Symbols such as spiders can be seen within the aura. When you moved over to your sister's bed, you placed her into your aura space I suspect. Your sister also could see your aura, including the symbols in it.The intensity of the blackness you describe may be about a manifesting of something, and for some reason I wouldn't know about. The fact you experience the webs in waking life could have a meaning.

Some people would say the spider or web may be your Totem. Look up about spiders and webs, it's an interesting subject. The book, "Animal Speak", by Ted Andrews is very good. There are other books on the subject too.

Thanks for the responses.  I will never forget the experience.

I really don't feel that they were there in a friendly way.  
The webs I would knock down were huge and thick.  Not like something you would encounter naturally.

Do you know more about these spider enteties?

There were many other unusual things that happened and continue to happen in that house.

I have also had other experiences with shadowy figures.  Only one out of several have been "friendly" (as it goes he was a little on the 'dark' side lol).

Anyway I would love to hear more if anyone has insight or similar experiences they would like to share.

Since it doesn't happen to you anymore i dont' know what to tell you, but I'm inclined to think you were never really awake.

It was so along ago and you were so young that you would have EASILY mistaken a false awakening for being 100% real, and since that belief was never corrected you still believe it, only with time the belief grew more and more rigid as details faded out.

The only way for me to answer what would be happening is if you had done extensive reality checks (looking at clocks, trying to fly, pinching yourself, trying to force yourself awake)

If you really were awake, you can hallucinate upon waking up, and have the hallucinations linger exactly like after images from staring at a light.... I had it happen to me for the first time 2 weeks ago.... I had an "OBE" of sorts and some black grim reaper guy helped pull me out of my body.. I woke up later and "hell" or "help" was on the wall.. transparent and floaty, like I had stared at a neon light that said hell/help for a while...

and then I had a crazy obe within a lucid dream.... in some sort of realm with dark green eyes and Metallicas the unforgiven playing.. when I came out of it (into "reality") a red geometric figure was there.. following my vision wherever I looked.. and it stayed there for a good minute or so.... I rolled over and stuff too, so... I mean....

They are like the opposite of hypnagogic hallucinations... I believe.

So I suppose that makes them normal, though I certainly haven't experienced them much.

So it's more than possible your mind was still in dreaming mode while you were awake, and it had not a thing to do with superstition, the paranoormal/supernatural, auras, astral, or anything else.

and I did a lot of things I wish I could do now as a child, but I could never see auras, I'm pretty sure I would have remembered that.


(oh and yes I know the red thing was real because I did reality checks and when it faded away I went and drew what it looked like, and yes, the drawing is still here)

When I was about 3 years old, I was awaken in the middle of the night.  My room looked the same and everything was as usual.  Then, things started to change...On my sheets were tiny black spiders crawling in a pattern.  I looked up and the pattern was on the curtain as well.

Suddenly, up from the floor, dark shadows started to emerge.  They developed into very large, long-legged spiders.  They started hopping all over my room.  Two of them jumped onto my body and started to crawl up to my chest and face.  They were shadows, but blacker than black.  

I jumped up out of bed screaming and got into my younger sister's crib.  She started screaming "spiders, spiders!!" My mother came in and turned on the light and they were gone. Just like that.


After that their were many occasions where I awoke before the rest of my family.  When I would go downstairs in the house, their were spider webs in all of the doorways.  I would knock them down.  It was so strange.  But I swear, (cross my heart lol) It was real.  I was awake.  I remember.

What do you all think of this?? Was it that my astral filter was non-existant as a child. Do we all have these strange experiences as children?  Has anyone else had an experience like this??  What happened?  I'd love to hear your theories!!!
