Title: The white bearded man... Return to me!
Post by: Selande on July 16, 2013, 03:27:28
I had a dream a few years back, and I feel silly for never speaking about it. Here it is:

I an on what appears to be a battlefield, and it looks to be a typical good vs. evil scenario. The side I am on is armor clad, in the shiniest, perfect armor imaginable! The enemy (I presume) is in the distance, dark cloud and fire shielding thier identity from us.

I remember pacing back and forth in front of these light soldiers, feeling in command. I assume that I am the commander. A man with a white beard, walking stick and plain robes pushes through the ranks. He motions to me saying " Come with me."

I tell the man " I cannot. I must lead these men into battle."

He again tells me "Come with me, I must speak to you now!"

I decide this may be important. I follow the man through the ranks to the forest below. He takes me on a trail next to a stream until we get to a pristine pond.

The man then says, "You must come with me away from here. It's your time."

I say that I cannot, I cannot go with him. I have a battle and many more to fight!

He stares... Then says "You have battles elsewhere, my child."

Yet, I still refuse... He leaves me... I then awake feeling a heavy guilt.

I have interpreted this dream to be a higher calling to do lightwork, but I proved not ready and my level of awareness was infantile to see the value of this destiny.

This being my first read of your experiences will ask a question.
From the impression of your reluctance to follow one that should have appeared to you as an important character, your natural instincts are more impulsive than thought. This may only apply to subtleties and you may not be aware of this at that time.
If correct, you need to be more aware of these characters that mysteriously appear in dreams asking you to do more than the dream narrative.
They should appear to know you too.
If you were aware of the above, then progress can be made somewhat faster than not.
The question is, were you aware the character was more than he seemed to portray, being outside of the dream narrative. An intuition or mental knowledge of knowing, not following?

Szaxx,

I find you a bit hard to follow! I do think, quite often. How am I supposed to know what to follow in my dreams? They seem like a little ride that I get off at the end when I wake. I made a thought not to follow the bearded man. Decisions, we all make them.

How am I supposed to know what to follow in my dreams?

I was hopeing for some kind of intuition so you know it's what you need to do.
If you imagine having the same awareness as you have while doing your daily things. Would you have gone with him or perhaps asked "why or how am I ready?"
Your assumptions on this being a calling were correct.
I too see this.
You did go half way and that is very good progress.

I have not had much experience in the dream department. I do a lot of meditation/chakra work. Dreams are a new frontier. I used theta binaural tones last sleep cycle (which was 6 hours). I fell asleep within 10 minutes. Much faster than usual. Now, to attempt dreams!

Now I understand much more.
6.3 hz binaural with a 14 hz secondary tone may help.
When you wake up, do so slowly. If you are aware of waking from a dream, this is easier.
I find recalling a dream difficult to impossible if I get forced awake.
It may help you remember more if you think of waking slowly while falling asleep. It'll program your subconcious. This could take a month to become effective. If it does your dream diary will get far busier.
