Hi all,

I posted this on another message board, but got only one response, so I hope that u, guys, are more active and can help me to understand....

Dream # 1

I had it maybe 5 or 6 years ago when I was dating a man from India. Well, the dream goes like this. We were both sleeping and then I dreamed that I got up in sitting position (I actually saw him sleeping beside me) and suddenly three men entered. All were wearing black robes with hoods covering their faces completely. I remember that they were cursing us, telling me to leave this man and generally saying bad things to me, accusing me of something. Then they left a thick black burning candle on the table beside the bed and went away...
The dream was extremely realistic. I could swear I actually encountered these people.
We split after 3 years or so.

Dream # 2

Another repeating dream bothers me every now and then. I dream that I kill somebody (usually don't know the person and killing is more like an accident, but not always). Then I experience intense fear of being caught as well as terribly regret what I have done and try to hide the body. Many times I travel quite far from where i live to ditch it.
I wake up terrified and disgusted.

Here goes my take..:)

I'm a bit confused about your first dream..is it repeating as well?  From what you say, it sounds like you were having an OBE at that point.  I don't know what to say about the robed figures....if you felt ill-will from them, then I suggest that they might be some sort of "dweller" that is trying to scare you from projecting.  Cure?  Promptly ignore and go on about your buisness. :D

I have a rule.. when you have a reoccurring dream, it is either a past-life or something you haven't quite got a handle on yet and you need to take notice and then figure it out...Nice huh? :P

That being said..your second dream sounds like you were a "killer" in another life.  Don't freak out... I think at one point of ALL our lives, we've played that role to learn what NOT to do.  Another lesson if you will, it shows us what compassion is all about, ya know?

I suggest you embrace, acknowledge and then move on.   You will be pleasantly surprised.

Nay, thank you very much. You might be right, who knows. Only in this life I hate to hurt even a small bug. I even became a vegetarian, but could not last longer than 5 months without my fish and chicken

The first dream happened once only. The second one is reoccurring. The first one was so damn real. I saw the room just the way it was, perfectly clearly, I'm pretty sure it was OBE--I was somewhat shaken in the morning. The men were totally evil...

thanks again for putting your 2 cents in  :)

LOL....some times one feels the need to go veggie because it seems "more enlightened"  Here's another theory of mine....  You eat what makes you comfortable.  Chicken and fish to me are light... I don't feel so full and fat after eating them.

See?  I told you...PROJECTION!!  Just ignore the nasties that show up to thwart your exploring!!  A very common thing for newbies to the projection world. :)

It seems the nasties see they have a less than comfortable victim to try and scare, and scare is ALL they can do.   When I say that, I mean they can put some wicked scary thoughts in your head, do and say things to you that will freak you out, but just ignore.  Hmmm..ok..that sounds easier than done, but I promise it works.  It just takes practice. :)

You are SOOOOO on your way to exploring the outer limits (always wanted to say that. ;) )

Good Luck!

But Nay, those days I was not even practicing.    It just happened. In any case, I dont mind meeting those nasties as long as I do project at all

LOL...You don't have to be trying for "it" to happen!  Infact, I would say this is a wake-up call.   I found over a month of NOT trying for projections, they just happened!  Don't ignore the calling..

It could be your ....hmmmmmmm...what shall I call it?.....higher being, guide, or subconscious trying to tell you something.  Whatever it is...go with it.

And above all....never doubt that you are experiencing things that most people would love to have drop in their laps.  :)  :)

Nay, u are right: my only conscious experience happened when I stopped trying--last Saturday. I just relaxed and let it happen. After that I also am able to view aura without "trying"  :)  It is amazing!

THAT, is amazing!!  I tried aura vison long ago....Kept seeing white around everyone and didn't think that was right... but then again, I was in a park full of children. ;)

Nay, that makes sense

I tried long time ago too, when I was at school and at first I could see some kind of bluish mist around everybody. Later that day I saw colors as well. My friend was crazy about these things as well, so we practiced together. I was looking at her and boom- I saw her standing in something that appeared like a giant egg... purple in color, also within the egg I could see the etheric outline of her body, which i normally see without much problem. But the "egg" was amazing. After that I was not able to see auras for years until now. For some reason I look at it very tranquilly, without much excitement..like it has become a normal part of my life and not the most amazing thing at all. Not that I see them all the time--only in particular lighting (when light source is from behind), nevertheless it is more than I could ever dream about. It came as a side-effect of AP practice and I am practicing for a couple weeks only!!

Could u tell something more about your projections? I'm all curious!

Love,
I.

Ha!  I could have sworn I already commented on this..yet here I am seeing I haven't.  How's that for deji-vu?  That, or I'm so focused on making my boys better. :)

I think I said something to the effect of........."LOL..I've been here quite some time and have many experiences posted"

Just click on my profile and there ya go....all for the world to see, from start to finish. :D  Just remember, I've been meditating for 17yrs and consciously projecting for.........hmmmmmm..I'd say now,  couple years so far.

The confusing thing is, I've been projecting unconsciously for at least 17yrs.  Seems to be normal for most people so, I guess it really isn't all THAT confusing. :P Kinda like a slap in the face, saying WAKE UP!

scarecrow

Ivanda,

I was curious by the second dream that you mentioned. I am not an expert in dream interpretation as only the dreamer themselves can ever do that but in my experience dreams are mostly symbolic and dreaming about killing someone/something represents "killing" or doing away with some part of your own personality. The fact that you feel guilty about it is obviously due to the fact that it is a part of you and you have grown used to it being there.

Perhaps your dream is telling you you must shed this part of yourself and move on but as to which "part" of your personality it refers to only you can answer.

Hope this helps  :)

Ivanda

scarecrow,

thank you! I think you are pretty close--my 6th sense tells me so. I still need to figure out what this thing is, but eventually I will. I am known for tolerating too much from ppl and then just leaving them when the vessel is full, instead of discussing and settling things. So maybe I am killing my real self by accepting things from others that I dislike. Could be....

Ivanda

wisp

Ivanda,

The one time dream with the black robes seem like death to me. I never experienced evil in my dreams. Evil seems more of a waking manifestation in my opinion. Could the feel be more about fear or unknown? The relationship ended.

Unless my memory fails me, I've never had a dream involving a dead body. I've had dreams which death is brought up in thought, but no body! The closest thing in dreams have been blood and tools of destruction, still...no body. So my guess, your producing something in your dream instead of letting it happen in waking life. Anything come to mind?

I just had a dream come to mind. I have an old dog. From day to day I wondered if he's suffering and wondering if I should put him to sleep. I wondered about this for some time. I doubt the dog is suffering by observationing him for a while. I had a dream that I killed the dog. I felt bad doing it. The dream played twice. In my dream the dog didn't die, he recovered from my killing. Since then, I've been at peace with his existence in his present state.

Could it be about not thinking something out? About not allowing yourself to think on things you really should? Your last post seems to be along these same lines.

Ivanda

wisp,

thank you--very thoughtful post. I realize there are many things that I should try to change in myself and I hope to gain better understanding of my dreams as I grow spiritually.

Thank you for your insight. And thumbs up for the dog!!

Ivanda,

And thank you, Ivanda. I would change only a little in your statement.

Instead of "try to change", how about the word recognize in it's place?

....and the change happens without trying.  :D
