Very complicated Dream

**I took a nap this same Saturday, and I had a very intense and vivid dream**
I go to the store with my father, blah blah.  We go into this store and we have a debate over which lawn chairs to buy.  I want the ones with arms on them, but he buys for "armless".  They were either 13 or 17 dollars.  The ones with arms were the same price, but they had a 7 dollars deposit for some reason.  I looked at the other side of the store, and saw a computer screem.  The wallpaper was that of a misty bog type place.  It had a stream in the middle, and it was a brilliant green mist hovering about the place.  This formed a basis for this dream.
I then have a dream inside this dream, that I went to this place.  There was more I'm forgetting, but I do remember a crazy man climbing this one unstable tree, and jumping onto a table where a lady was laying.  Fortunately, the lady got off the table before he landed.  I  was seperated from the group, and ran through my garage door, and locked it, now inside my kitchen.  He punched a hole through the screen, and as I ran to the main front door, I imagined him unlocking it from the outside.  I proceeded down the hall and opened the front hall and went to open the door.  I had seen the door handle as the same one as the kitchen door's.  Now, odd thing, but I corrected my dream!  I said to myself, this is not right, so I then visualized and turned it into the correct handel, and proceeded out, down the drive and onto the street.
I beleive that was a little conscious input.  But now, I wake up, still inside the dream.  I am conducting experiments, and at some point I hear about a contest on a candy bar for those who keep the best journals.  I tell my friend (there were 3, one which disappeared) we need to go.  There is a man in a black car outside waiting.  Our boss was taking care of a murder up above, routine stuff.  As me and my friend are getting ready, we keep seeing the guy in the car, very slightly, due to the tinted windows.  Kind of intimidating...escpecially after this next incident.  He calls to the house, and I answer it, while they do, and listen to the conversation long enough to pick up the idea: if my boss doesn't hurry up, the driver will kill us.  Well, me and my friend are all ready, and we have to wait for boss.  When we get out, we load the black car: I had 2 medium stacks of red-orange cones, my friend had 1 large stack of orange-red cones.  Boss and the kid put there stuff in the trunk, and I put mine on the floor next to me.  This backseat was meant for 4.  There was a guy on the right end of the backseat, not boss.  boss and the driver were in front.  My friend got in the middle, and I got on the left.  We had a method to seat ourselves as 3 in a 4 person seat.  We start driving, and apparently we are heading to "Wantagh Stadium".  I ask, what's there?  Driver just smiles, like its something great.  We see a sign, and it says some crazy name that made no sense, and I said aloud, "How do you get Wantagh out of that?"  Well, there is a police barracade up ahead, and we keep driving...  As we approach it, and go into/through it, I get this insane rollercoaster 500 mph death drop feeling.  The ultimate drop on a rollercoaster, so it seemed.  And we were through.  The driver like put the car into a different energy dimension, and teleported us to the other side of that barracade.  We were now in a white car.
I asked "What the bonk was that feeling?  That was so intense!"  They look at me wierd, and the driver in particular.  "You felt it?"  I said I did.  "Only me and __ __ could feel that."  I now got a sense that I was special in this energy way.  I said aloud "I just stimulated my energy body and . . ." The others, (now it was like a van with 2 girls added and that mystical guy on the right, gone) just looked with odd faces and chuckles.  "Nevermind, you'll think I'm crazy."  The driver gave me an extra long stare, and continued on.
We approach the stadium, nothing special.
Eventually, we exit the car, and I have a gun pointed at my head, as if I'm a threat to the driver.  I assume, in the dream, that it was due to that feel I had back at the blocking.  They then discover that my friend is not the kid who they thought, or rather, doesn't belong here; some sort of orphan, a threat to this business.  Now it is a flash to an old-style bar.  A random person blurts out "Who's the father of this kid?"  Some random teenager kid says, "Hah, I don't like that kid.  I might as well be his father."  (In the dream, his claim as his father was somehow a hinderance to this kids chance of survival).  A silent man stands up, old-fashioned brown trenchcoat.  He says "I am his father."
A fight breaks out with 2 people, and the father takes both down with some insane style of martial art.  The impression around the room was "imagine what his kid must know!"
After the driver realized this, the gun was lowered, and he was reassured.
My friend and I exchange dreams from the previous night, while we have a chance to talk.  We coincidentally have had the same basis for a dream.  After this joyfull exchange of words, I awake.  Amazing dream this was, just amazing.

**While typing this up, I recalled a dream I had a while back**
I was on Salina street, but it also had the impression of Erie Blvd.  So it was a combination of both, which would make for an interesting place in real life!  I am riding down this street on my bike, and go through problems.  It is like I am living on my own, with this bike, and this street.  Also, it is like I am away from home, exploring.
I think if I had kept a journal at the time of this dream, it would have been more clear.

Greetings K2sixx,

Sounds like an excillent dream / lucid. I've been keeping a journal for quite some time and it's great to look back through it and see over a period of months and years how the themes and content change as you devolop as a person over that time.

I keep a pretty complex journal, I journal the Date, Time ,was it transcribed after the dream, or on waking and then The dream content. I've also found it usefull to have a section at the end as to what might have attributed to the substance or feeling of the dream. I break this section into four areas.

1/ physical :  Things that are on your mind in the proceeding day(s) before the dream. ie: You haven't seen someone for years and all of a sudden you incorporate them in your dream(s).  I've found in this type of case, more times than not, If you do a little retrospection of the proceeding day(s) you'll find that they may have come up in a conversation, or something you saw ( might only be for a second ) reminded you of them.

2/ Past lives:  Write down things that have a cultural difference to your own, are you acting out a certian occupation, do certian era's in time occur. I've found that I have a great familiarity with Asia and certian asian building's and stuctures which I have'nt known in this life.

3/ External:    Write down any external physical influence's that may have added to it, ie: Did a partner sleeping next to you give you a nudge, did the doona fall of, did you eat to much before sleep, have you had any muscular or digestion upsets that day. I have a son that is very receptive to external triggers. Over the years his brother and I have great fun proding him whilst his asleep to later hear how he incorparated the physical proding into his dream.

4/ Diagrams. I draw pictures , diagrams and maps ect. I've found a lot of times when looking at a picture I've drawn and thinking about the feeling of the dream at that time, extra meaning of that situation arises.

I hope the above might help you with your journal, it's frustrating when you get the, " oh bugger, i'm sure i've had that theme before, I should've wrote the other one down".

Regards  Steve

Thanks Steve, I appreciate the reply.

As of now, I typically point out Reality Fluctuations and little realizations as to why certain things happen.

External influence isn't an issue I don't think.

Past lives, now that makes me all the more excited about everything!  I already have my assumptions.

If my drawing doesn't take away from the beauty of the dreams, then I'll work on that.

Throughout my first 2 weeks in dream documenting, I have seen extreme improvement.  Among this improvement, is dream recall, and reality fluctuation correction.  This dream was lucid at some points.  I was consciously aware of my tingly body, and the environment in which my dream body was.  So lucid this was, but it was so deep as well, that it feels like more than a dream.

With this dream journal, I have tried to avoid extensive detail.  If I had added the extensive detail, I could write a few pages on this dream.  Instead, I had briefed it into a 1 page deal.

I don't feel like revising it, for I had woken up about 40 minutes ago, and I'm not in the mood to revise my frantic typing. Haha.  I will post it below.
