Well I remember two dreams:

In the first I was in a park. Instead of heaving a dog as a pet I had a lion. It just followed me around and played with me, even caught a bone I think.
I am intrepreting this as a good thing since I could controll a "dangerous" animal.

The second dream has no meaning to me but maybe to you guys.
I was in our world but this world had a second dimension were other people and some weird creatures live. They were hostile towards us for some reason and threatened to kill me I think, I knew that I had to visit this second dimension to stop it. So my friend (who is also my real life friend) tells me that it is possible and that I should think hard how to do it. He also said that children of a certain grade of my school can visit this dimension and the secret in doing it lies in the number 20, since there are 20 children in that class.
So he told me to come with him and we would go visit one of the children and go into the second dimension. In order to do that we had to breath in the water... I had no clue at that point what he really ment but I went with him.
We go into his car and drove into a guarded village I know in real life (I think it was supposed to be the one I know). We came to some highrise buildings which I had visited before in a dream I think. He drove the car into one of the buildings. At this point my dream switches to a third person view:
I see the car driving off the top of the building and falling. Water rises from the ground to meet the car and fine water mist comes up in a few pillars (hard to describe) surrounding the car. The people in the car strick their heads out and breath in the water.... all of a sudden the car falls slower and slower until it stops in middair above the water.
Thats it... no more memory afterwards.

Does this make sense to anyone?

Hi Mydral

I spotted this a couple of days ago and thought it looked interesting.  I have a few initial thoughts, but need to think about it some more.  I'll come back to you soon.

(I just wanted to let you know that your posts do get read!)  :-)

That didn't take long once I'd sat down and concentrated!  :-)

First dream

The lion could be symbolic.  If I asked you to describe a lion in three words, what would you say?  What does the lion represent to you?

You don't have to tell me the words, but if you write them down on a piece of paper before you continue reading.  (I'll come back to the lion later.)

Second dream

I think this may be to do with your spiritual progression in life.  The dream tells you there are other dimensions.  It also relates you are "good" in that you feel you must stop the hostility.  The real life friend will be there to help and guide you.  (I also have a real life friend who appears in my dreams every so often and seems to be a helper, giving me advice and so on.  I once asked if she was a guide during a lucid dream, but she simply replied, "I am your friend".)

The 20 children is interesting.  It is almost like a cryptic puzzle you need to work out before you can move on.  This part might be something you want to think about some more.  Do you know if the grade is higher than yours?  What I mean is, the dream might be telling you that you need to study harder to get those grades, so that you can join the 20 children who are able to visit the second dimension.

Breathe in the water – that's nice.  I like that.  I've done that before.  It's a magnificent feeling, being underwater and breathing.  I think this is about believing you can do it.  Of course, in physical reality, we can't breathe underwater (without equipment), and so we've never experienced doing it.  Your friend has told you that you must do this in order to reach the other dimension – therefore it's a leap of faith, trusting your friend that it is possible.

The reason the dream switches to third person is because you are not quite ready to make that leap, therefore you watch the "dreaming" Mydral and his friend do it.  The physical Mydral can only observe from the sidelines and isn't ready to fully immerse himself with the experience, due to lack of belief/trust/faith.

You lost your memory because you pulled out of the experience.  The dreaming Mydral is now probably having a hoot exploring all sorts of dimensions – and you could have been there with him – if you'd only stayed in first person!!   :-)

Next time you get asked to breathe in water – jump in!  :-D

Of course, this is only my interpretation of your dream.  You'd be much better at interpreting your own dream, but it might give you some thoughts.

P.S.  Back to the lion... look at the three words you wrote down.  It is possible that you are embracing the meaning of those words, becoming comfortable with them (either in yourself or others), and are no longer frightened of them.

awesome interpretation selski!   :-o  i like the thing you did with the lion, putting that part at the end, after you talked about fear, and having her write down what she feared before she got to that part.  neato...

Hmm.. here are some symbols from an online dream dictionary, to think about.   :-P

To dream that you are breathing underwater, represents a retreat back into the womb. You want to return to a state where you were dependent and free from responsibilities. Perhaps you are feeling helpless, unable to fulfill your own needs and caring for yourself. Alternatively, you may be submerged in your emotions.

Personally, I don't agree with the breathing underwater definition.  If a person is in a higher level of awareness while in a lucid dream, the definition changes subtextually.  I think in this case it may mean submersion in emotion.  However, symbolically, jumping into the womb again to enter a different dimension is what we all do when we come from the other side to earth.  An indigo child does this to make a difference and try to fix the hostility on the earth.

With cars... to me they always symbolize going somewhere important in my life.  If my brakes don't work in my dream, it means I'm trying to go too fast in life.  If I'm driving, it means I have control in my life.  In your case, your friend is driving, so this means that you are willing to let him lead the way, and you trust that he knows how to help you.  Also, riding in an automobile signifies that even in pleasant situations, you will still be restless and uneasy.

How did your friend drive the car into the building, then all of a sudden get on top of the building?  And where did the water come from?  That confuses me! lol.  Well anyway.. let me try to interpret it.  hehe.

A car accident in a dream symbolizes that the person dreaming harbors deep anxieties and fears.  The dream is saying slow down before you hit disastor.  However, in your case, since you escaped the car before it hit, it shows that you will come out on top of all of your conflicts and oppositions in life.  Also.. your friends were safe and were submerged in the water and still able to breathe in it.  Maybe this is reassuring you that you need to face your fears and you will be okay.  The water was a symbol of the emotions that you are afraid may drown you.  You  need to face those emotions and submerge yourself in them, and the dream promises that what ever happens, you will be okay.

Hmm interesting analysations thanks.... however like I said, the second dream means nothing to me right now.

With the lion:
It just represents power and protection to me. Maybe a little background story..... I have a dog who is attached to me. Sometimes I tell it to guard me while I go to sleep or meditate since maybe dogs can see things I can't see. The lion in the dream mimicked the dogs behaviour.... maybe it has something to do with that.

With the second dream:
When I said grade, I ment class. Like grade 1, grade 2, grade 3 in elementary school. The number 20 is the children in that grade. They were young kids in elementary school.
In my dream I saw one of them in the second dimmension already...... the thing I forgot to mention is this (I thought it wasn't important):
I vaguely remeber that they communicated with the beeings in the other dimension. It had to do with projection or so since the beeings felt that a presence entered the bedroom of the kid and went into the bedroom (switching dimensions) to protect it. Problem was that it was only his mother, but the beeing didn't understand and attacked her (this is the guarding thing again similar to my first dream, but strangly twisted)... the child tried to tell it to stop but it wouldn't. At this point either me or someone else shot the beeing in the head and it died.... maybe thats why they were mad at me.
