Have you ever had a dream that you knew were dreaming, and no matter how hard you tried you could not wake up? A lucid dream is one in which you are aware of and because of this, you are able to control where the dream goes and what happens. I had like 6 in a row last night. It was weird because everything was blurry and not right. I was in my basement most of the time and all these creatures were floating above me taunting me. Then my sisters friends came down, and as I tried to get up and walk over to my stairs I kept getting pulled back to the same spot, and the creatures would come back.

I taught myself a technique that usually helps me to wake up. I learned that if you force yourself to up your eyes in a dream, you'll open your eyes in real life. So I did this, and I thought I was awake, when in fact, I just woke up in a different dream, thinking that I was in fact awake. This time I was talking with my uncle, and he said he's be right back. The second he left, I ended up back in my basement. I opened my eyes this time and even screamed, thinking that I had screamed in my bed, but apparently not.

I ended up in this narrow hallway with a laser gun with these things that were holding shields, trying to shoot me with their lasers. I found that they were horrible at shooting and I destroyed everyone of them only to find myself at the bottom of my basement stairs. Went up the stairs, and into my living room, where some of my relatives were watching the Matrix Reloaded, but it wasn't because it wasn't really Reloaded because the scene that was playing wasn't in the movie. Once again I thought I was having a real life conversation with them, and I was even explaining to them that I had like 5 lucid dreams and explained what they were. Finally I opened up my eyes for the last time and woke up in my bed in a cold sweat.

Because I thought it was so cool, I laid in bed recreating the dream in my head to try to enter the dream, but no success. There was a point where I thought I had astral projected, but no I wasn't able to. Last night was weird, but in a cool way. I hope it happens again tonight.
