Lucid Dreaming vs. Astral Projection

Well, last night I had a very VERY real lucid dream and everything was so detailed and real. Can the astral be the same way or can it not be that real?

Astral is supposedly much more detailed and memorable, a friend told me that.

Can the astral be the same way or can it not be that real?

I'd say it depends on how aware you are.  Like lucid dreams, really.  

Sometimes you get very lucid dreams, where you can (for instance) kiss someone and it feels exactly like a physical kiss, and sometimes they are not so lucid.

Likewise with the astral, at times it's as real as walking down the road.  And other times it's fuzzy, or black and white and you only get tunnel vision.

That's what I think anyway.
