Title: Weird Dream
Post by: phxsun on May 18, 2010, 09:43:56
So I found myself walking into my living room I see a person and they are falling into some water only their standing up and everything in the room is frozen. The splashing water is frozen is space. So I walked past this and into my kitchen. I started to float up towards the ceiling when I lost control and tipped on my head my legs started to spin, apparently this must have scared me because my wife woke me up.........

If I may... the symbolism of the frozen water and person drowning, I'm quite lost upon.
But the "floating upwards" actually sounds like you were in the process of separating.

It would have been interesting to hear the rest had your wife not woke you up.  LoL

Hey Ryan..

There was more to that dream before the first part, I just could not remember! I also thought it was  the beginning of separation, but I was really just trying to sleep. And whats also weird is that most of my dreams are all interactive with other people.

Hey phxsun,

If I may suggest something you can do that might help you recall more of your dreams...

When you first wake up, let's say you are on your left side, don't move.. just relax and think about the dream.  Once you think you have recalled all you can, yet feel there is more, slowly turn over onto your back, don't move and just allow the dream to run through your mind and after a couple minutes, if nothing new pops into your head, slowly move onto your right side and do the same thing.  You might find a part of the dream coming to you, depending on how you're lying.

I hope this helps with better recall, it did for me.   :-)

Hey NayKid...

Thanks for the suggestion. I will be giving that a try. The biggest problem I have is Mon. thru Fri. I get up to a blaring alarm clock (very heavy sleeper) can't remember much of a dream after that!!!

You're welcome and yeah, that will throw a wrench into things.   :-D  Hopefully on the weekends you can give it a try.
