If you knew you were dreaming you were lucid.

I have this sort of thing all the time and most of the time I don't even care if I control the dream environment or not. The essential bit is that you consciously realize you are dreaming. What your body does or whether you are aware of it or not is irrelevant imho.

I once had 3 level lucid dream with false awakenings that almost ended inan embarassing way. I'll post soonish.

ahhh you wanna hear a crazy one?
I have strange prophetic dreams that are within dreams.it happens all the time.its crazy. Some of them i realize i am dreaming, some of them i dont realize till i have waken up, but yes it is very confusing i do agree.

It's a weird experience but I've also had the lucid dream within a dream scenario. So what jilola wrote makes sense. It must be that it was all lucid.

Ooops. I totally forgot about the dream.

I dreamed I woke up, got out of bed and left for work. Just as I was shutting the front door I realized I was still inmy PJ's. I realized I was dreaming and continued just to annoy the neighbours.
A few moments later the same situation reoccured. I went along knowing that this was just another dream.
The it happened the third time, and remember this is still the same reoccuring false awakening.
Only this time I felt my toes freezing over and just a fractioon of a second before I shut the door I realized that I was actualy and in real life in my PJ's outside shutting the front door and going to work.

I felt a bit embarassed as I showed my fingers between the doorframe.

As for your question, it sounds a bit if not more like a projection from a semi-lucid dream.

I've had lucid dreams where I realize its a dream, but dont really believe it.  I've had ones where I know its a dream but then in what seems like a few minutes start going along with the dream and I forget Im dreaming.

You said you could control your environment but you didnt realize you were in bed sleeping. Did you realize it was a dream or did you think it was a real event and you were controlling your environment.

I Had a few dreams where i started moving things with my mind but i thought it was in real life so I didnt really consider it lucid.  I remember thinking "yes this stuff is real".  But obviously it was just a dream.  However, if you thought you knew you were dreaming even a little thats lucid.

Its a start anyway because you can start making the connection if you're moving something with your mind you're probably dreaming.

i love when this sort of thing happens.....my best one was :: i was lucid and changing everything in a very sci-fi setting.. i realized i was lucid of course and it seemed to make me tired (in the dream) so i took a nap in the 1st lucid dream and went into another lucid dream and realized what was going on (lucid within lucid) and woke back up in the first dream still lucid and told another dream character what i just did and they just looked very confused i then tried to show this dream character what i was talking about and started changing stuff to show them and they said that stuff always happens....i never did convince the other character....
...am i dreaming???

Euphoric Sunrise

Last night i had a peculiar dream in which i had another dream which was a lucid dream. The only thing is i don't feel like it was a proper lucid dream. When i woke up the dream didn't feel different from any other dream i've had. I've never had a lucid dream before so i don't know what they are supposed to feel like, but it was just weird.
During the lucid dream i could control pretty much everything i wanted to, but i wasn't aware that i was asleep in my room. Then when i came out of that dream i was actually in the place i was before and i was jumping up and down with excitement because i had just had a lucid dream, but i was actually still dreaming and i didn't realise this.
So i guess my question is, would you consider this to be an actual lucid dream, since i was infact aware that i was able to manipulate my environment, or was it not, because i wasn't aware that i was physically lying in my bed at home?
Sorry if this is confusing! [:P]
