Title: what dreamsign do you use?
Post by: kromeknight on July 18, 2003, 17:40:53
Hello Tomodenmann
I read about looking at the hands or feet to become aware and spinning to increase clarity. I've also used the jumping method to fly in dreams thats my favourite [;)]

When telekinesis works a lot better than it does on earth, sometimes it tells me I'm dreaming. Other times I think I've gotten a lot better at it. In the dream, I dont doubt that I could get good enough to move 50 pounds, and I dont doubt it on earth either, but so far the most is about half a pound.

thx @kromknight I'll try it.
@beavis. You know, I can't do telekinesis, like most people, so your reply wasn't very helpful. I wonder if your intention is really to help or just do impress[;)]?

Hi tombodenmann,

Welcome to the Astral Pulse forum! [:)] The method that krome mentioned is also one that I read about. You mentioned some good ones too. I also read about asking yourself: "am I dreaming" a lot while awake as practice for when you are dreaming. The theory is that when you are dreaming your habit of asking the question will prompt you to do so in your dream wherein you will realize that you are dreaming and become lucid.

Very best,

Hey Tombodenmann.

I have been trying to nail down just one sign...arrgghh so frustrating when I get different ones.  I did the hand technique, but I was already lucid..I felt was slipping back, so looked at my hands and it worked.
When I start to float, thats a good indicator..duh..lol.  Once in awhile I say the "am I dreaming" but that is only after something really weird is happening...Who knows, it is a on going question for me..I just wish my mind would pick ONE and stick with it. [:P]

Hmm...I wonder if there's anything that we can buy, that's like a watch or something that gives you a tiny pin-prick electric shock every now and then. Then you can ask yourself whether you're dreaming whenever you feel that on your hand. And of course you wear it when you sleep too...

I've tried using the 'hourly chime' on my watch for this purpose, but it turns out the beep-beep sound (from 10 feet away!!) is enough to wake me from my sleep...  [:P]Insert

Hello Everyone
Athios your idea could be put into practise . During the rem cycle the eye movements could be detected by a modified eye band, night cap ..what ever you call thoughs eye things to keep out the light so you can sleep better [:I] [;)] anyway a small shock to the wrist could promt you to look at the time in a dream, just as an example  but it wouldn't be that costly or hard to make hmmm I've got the copyrights everyone  L.D.T  lucid dream tripper lol "This time it's Lucid"

PS Ronaldo don't put it there

There is a dream induction device you can buy called the NovaDreamer which is like some sunglasses u wear to bed and they detect when your in REM sleep then send red flashes and sound cues. You can buy it from www.lucidity.com for about $300 I think.

My main dreamsign is my friends... whenever I see my friends I ask myself "am i dreaming?".

Others include school, work, driving, etc.
But yeah I always try a bit of tele/electrokinesis powers during the day and in my dreams.
I also look at my watch frequently to check if the time changes.

But I dont really need to now because I can pretty much have at least 1 lucid dream a night now. [:)]

Oh yeah, I've heard of that NovaDreamer before. Crazy pricing though.

Hmm.....friends as a dreamsign, never thought of that before. Sounds like it'd be really effective!

Yeah, whenever you see your friends in reality just ask yourself if your dreaming and make a quick reality check (dont say it out aloud though).

I just wonder what kind of dreamsigns you guys have the best results with, in order to get some ideas for myself. I use: checking the time, going to the bath room for dreamsigns
Best resultsa so fare with checking the time.
