I'm trying this method as well, but haven't checked in a dream yet. Knowing me I'll check them and think, "Oh, look my hands." Then keep dreaming. :P

The AlphaOmega

My very first lucid dream occured because of the hand method.  However though it seemed unconcious, and I was aware of the technique, I hadn't spent much time doing it.  Within my dream it simply occured.  I felt the need to look at my hands, and in doing so became lucid.  All other lucid dreams I have had have been completely random and spontaneous.  I wish them to happen, but don't plan for it.  I don't know if this is any kind of advice really.  I guess as long as you're having them at all it's a good start.  Keep trying and see if it eventually works.

BlackBox

As prescribed by Blackstream I've been glancing at my hands repeatedly throughout each day, for about two weeks. I very much believe in the concept of conscious repetition = subconscious habit, but for the life of me I can't seem to trigger lucid dreams through this method (or at least not yet).

When I first had two lucid dreams a year ago, it just "happened", perhaps from just reading about it. Maybe I'll just engulf myself into the readings again, but Blackstream claimed this method was the best (with conviction!) that I'll continue on with that also...
