Title: Why are dreams so amazing?
Post by: Tiny on October 31, 2009, 15:18:40
So dreams are known to be connected to our sub-conscious.

But some of them have this amazing feeling to them that seems to have nearly nothing to do with the visual scenery. In one of my last dreams I found myself in a bath (once again) but the energy that surrounded that dream was so mysteriously envigorating, it's really hard to describe.
Perhaps it is just a sense of freedom in this realm where the impossible is easy.

Dreams are wonderful, not sure why.
I'm guessing it has to do with the third eye, and therefore the pineal gland producing a psychoactive compound called D-M-T or Dimethal Tryptamine.

Ever done ayausca?  Its like dreams 2.0

If DMT is released everytime we dream then we are having OBEs and NDEs everytime we dream. What if DMT is released to create waking consciousness too. It would all be due to the same chemical, and the same in nature. Is that what you think? Is this all a big trick of the brain or is DMT a gateway to something else.

Thats a very big question.  I would probably say that DMT is a gateway to time-space...but my thoughts are as good as anyones.

This "Reality" is nothing but an illusion. Anything is possible even beyond scientific laws. The way i see it is if it's possible to achieve anything in a dream then its possible on higher realms. To me dreams are concrete proof of the unlimited potential an individual soul has. Mind over Matter the power to create and destroy. And in death we simply free our mind.

Dear Killa Rican,

what makes you think that dreams are not taking place in higher realms?
Modern mainstream science actually has no authority in saying that dreams are not from higher realms. In fact they are from higher realms, merely reflected down into our brain so strongly, for some reason. They are linked to the mental plane which is somewhere inside the astral world however the sleep dimension seems where we enter at night appears to be one of it's kind.

peace

Indeed i see dreams as our own little private quarters of the Astral Somewhat like a hotel. But when we become lucid we see the astral for what its really worth and step out of our rooms :).
