I've heard and read about them from Coast to Coast, and it's my opinion that people are just seeing things outside of normal physical vision, like a third eye kind of thing. The way people describe seeing the 'shadow people' reminds me of people describing beings in the astral, or some kind of non-physical sight.

Yes, I had a quick glimpse of a shadow person once, about 3 years ago. Here's how it went:
There was daily 90 degree weather this summer. Earlier that morning I had drank some coffee and left the empty cup on my bedroom dresser.That afternoon I went in the bedroom to take the empty cup out. I picked the cup up, it was as cold as if it had been in a deep freeze. The temperature in the house had been 90 for days! My son was taking a shower, I went to the door to ask him if he had used my cup. He yelled back "no". I was amazed by this frozen cup. I glanced in one of the bedrooms (the one my son had been sleeping in at that time). For a brief moment, I saw a black shaped human shaped object flying across the room. I have to wonder if these two things are connected some way.
Freaky, whatever they are they are not friendly. From what I've heard on the radio they they scare the satan out of people. I remember on a tv special about this kid who could see orbs, and how he had to move from house to house because he was abused by a spirit. His
mother looked so helpless and worried for him because he had bruises and marks on his body."He had exorcisms performed"his mother said. Her son talked about dark shadowy figure stalking him wherever he goes. I'm sure he can see something we can't,
because his mother described that when he was born he had a serious
illness so they had to put him on "iron lungs" machine that breathed air for him. She said that her son's heart stopped beating and he became
unconscious several times on the table but he came back. She believe's that this caused her son to see these things.
they might not be too dangerous... i remember i woke up one morning when i was 7 or 8 years old and looked over the side of my bed to get up and saw 3 black ghosts at the foot of my bed, i think those are the shadow people, they were standing in size order, they had the black flame like apearance on the bottom of them and i saw the eyes which were like holes in them. They just stood there staring at me until my dad came in and turned on the light because i was screaming about seeing a ghost. They might just wanna scare us because they didnt do nothing to hurt me that morning.
Yes this has been a topic for C2C for a long time in terms of callers. I would guess shadow people are from the astral dimensions and they enter the physical by some mistake of some one.
Why do they usually have negative effects on people who see them?
I admittedly havent done excessive research on shadow people. what i tell you i came to know through meditation and consultation with others.
I know there looking for someone (An individual). I don't know what or who. but there searching.
Personally i believe there looking for someone who has an influence on the future. Maybe a key figue head, or future president or something of the like.
The Shadow people cannot see into the future themselves, only when they touch a person can they see the future of that individual life.

So, you say that they seek out the future of important people that will become dictators or presidents.(Do you mean so they can guide them to become this important figure who will have enormous effect on mankind?) I've read somewhere in books about antichrists on Hitler that during his childhood he was visited by strange entities(in the books they refer to them as demons) and some biographies mention that these encounters had some influence on him, leading him to his path towards becoming a dictator. Anyone else has different opinions or

This is the first time I have heard of these ShadowPeople, can anyone give me more insight to them.
Once I may have saw one, at my friends house near his bathroom I always got this wierd feeling, and once I swear I saw a shadow move across the floor. Also in his sisters room there was a wierd shadow in the middle of her floor, but it was from nothing....

Actually I had my first experience with shadow people this past weekend. I have read stories and people's experiences about things such as shadow people, sleep paralysis, and old hag stories all before-- but nothing prepared me for actually experiencing this phenomenon first hand, that's for sure.
I woke up in the early hours of the morning after the sun had risen, so there was light slowly pouring into my room. I turned my head slightly to take a look at the clock beside my bed to see how much longer I could sleep in and there it was, standing right at the foot of my bed, this semi-transparent shadow about 5'11" tall. I have light coloured walls in my room so I instantly knew I was looking at something that shouldn't be there.
I like to think of myself as a relatively calm and rational person, and definetly no stranger to metaphysical stuff, but the instantaneous feeling of terror made me sit straight up, heart pounding out of my chest, clutching the covers, screaming for a good minute until I could get a grip on myself. I think what upset me the most was that I couldn't shake this feeling of being violated somehow. How long was it there for? What did it want with me? No clue, but as soon as I reacted, it vanished.
I have been under a lot of stress lately, but I'm not ready to dismiss this experience as being overtired. It definetly shook me up for the next day or so... and gave me pause to think how little we really know about our vast universe.

Shadow people, anyone else had encounters with them.
For every person who has a bad experience with a shadow person, there is someone who has a good experience. They are most certainly *not* all evil, any more than humans are all evil.
For example, when I was younger, I had fairly frequent visits from two shadows in particular. One tried to give me nightmares by putting horrifying images into my head. Just his presence was enough to paralyse me with fear. The other is a kind of guardian to me, and would do what I call singing me to sleep . . . he would project feelings of calm and protection. And on top of those two, and various others I've interacted with, I have also seen a lot who didn't appear too interested in interactnig any way. Just going about their business, as it were.
Yes, it's true that a lot of people react badly to shadow people - there are many more stories of people being *scared* by them than actually *harmed*. Then again, many people react badly to snakes, spiders, and bats - does that make snakes, spiders, and bats bad?
For good reason, humans tend to be wary of things very unlike them and things they don't understand. I think a lot of fear of shadow people isn't down to them being malicious . . . it's just an extension of fear of the dark. Being wary keeps people away from them, just in case.

Yes, in depth. To get back to your question of why shadow people exist in the first place - I don't know, but then again, I doubt anyone here actually knows why anyone exists in the first place. Would you prefer it if there was a simple, straightforward answer?
When I lived on the West Coast and now that I live on the East Coast I tune in to 790 AM and it usually airs after 10:00 P.M.

Nope, sorry for asking the question in the first place.
i actually had a strange thing happen with these shadow people. I had the eoncounter fully conscious around 4am at my dad's. I was on the computer and then i kept thinking someone else was around. Then i yelled out like a stupid person hello. then something not very clear was at the bottom of the stairs. then a smaller imp approached. i actually stuck my hand out and im not sure if it touched me. Then i dont know i got a flash of the shadow people and saw someone or something in the middle of a large group of them. I found out maybe a week later that is what happened in my friends dream at the same moment. we both recalled the same date, time,and happenings of the event.
My dads house has always been very strange and eerie later at night.
im not sure but i think i saw something in the kitchen very clear and i could focus my eyes on it without it disappearing. i always wake up there in the middle of the nite and have intense dreams. Once i dreamt that my cousins were also possessed by two demons that smiled sinisterly. When i woke up they were in the room doing as they had been in my dream except there were no demons.
So, with the dreams and your experience, did they leave you emotionally affected(sad,angry,scared) , or did you feel good vibes from the imp?

At first i was afraid cause i thought there mite be something else there and then i welcomed the imp. i think it mite have been like kind of mischievous or curious i guess. it moved was in a corner and then approached. it was also shadow. Well my friend and I hang out alot and are kind of close. I think i might have also made contact with her in another dream (which took place after the shadows)in which this person who might be her told me there name was Pamper and not to forget it.
Hmmmmmm..interesting. A few months back I had a RT projection and saw a shadow to my right. When I turned to get a good look at it, it dash out the door.. I never felt scared tho, funny because I described it to my friend as a 'shadow person' like I said...veeeery intersting...[;)]

I was brushing my teeth one night, and before I left the bathroom or flipped the light switch off, a short power outage hit my neighborhood. The lights went off, as soon as my pupils adjusted to the darkness I got an eerie feeling, so I looked in the corner behind me, and I saw a dark shadowy misshapen thing fly out through the wall. I paniced and ran from the bathroom. [:O]
At my friends house in his sisters room there was some times this wierd shadow that was in the shape of a circle in the center of her room.. but nothing was giving off that shadow..
Also I would always have a very wierd feeling when ever I would walk past his bathroom.. you know like when your going up a big flight of stairs and it feels like some thing is chasing you? Well it was that kind of feeling.. very strange.
We had a medium who could see spirits and she saw the shadow and said that it was a small girl that had probly died in the field behind his house. Maybe these shadow beings are spirits?

Yeah, I know the feeling, horrific.
Being chased by, or knowing something invisible[}:)]is staring at you. So, you avoid looking in a mirror or a window incase you see the evil demonlike creature's reflection, which is hiding or waiting to chase you[:O], when you start running. I use to have nightmares about being chased.[B)]

Yea I hate that feeling.. good thing I dont get it very often any more. If I happen to glimpse a mirror while going by, and there is a creatures reflection behind me I think I would have crapped my self.
I have never seen a shadow person or a ghost or anything, but I think that I have felt ones presence near me..
