Yesterday I had a dream... In the dream I found some useful things and immediately noticed, "I cannot keep these because I know they'll disappear", followed by "I know I am dreaming". (Still in the dream) my mother wanted something from me, I told her that it's not possible because this dream we are in is going to end soon. I tried "clarity now" command but it did not help.
The dream ended slowly with that I knew i was the physical body laying in the bed, and it was nothing more than a thought or imagination when it ended.

Here comes the weird part, I KNEW I was dreaming but I was not able to control it or anything. The dream had me in control. How am I supposed to "free" myself in a lucid dream?

Very easy, tell the dream who's boss.  When you realize you are dreaming and things aren't working out the way you want them to.  You straight up tell everyone in the dream, "Listen, I know I'm dreaming, cut the crap, I'm in control."  The dream characters might try to call you on a bluff, but be firm, and basically act like and know you are in control of the dream.  Also, the shortness of the dream is just something that improves over time.  When i first started lucid dreaming, I was lucky if the dream lasted more than what seemed like a minute, but it does improve with more practice.   Just keep up with it! :)  And keep a dream journal if you haven't started already.
