The first part of your dream seemed like dreams I've worked with before. The last part seemed to turn into something else, drama and maybe some fantasy. Are you a female? The girl could be a child aspect of you.Do you practice magic?

antique store- Old stores or storage.

historic- Has a history or age to it.

parallel street- Parallel paths or journey.

intersection-A crossroad, a decision

left- past

sunny- bright

right-future

shady- Unknown or not clear, bad vibes.

dusty-memories

autumn/winter-Changing seasons, later and death. Winter makes me think I'm wrong about the drama and fantasy part.

*I want to clarify what I mean by death. Death in dreams (like Winter scenes) doesn't mean death in the physical sense, more like an ending of something...and always followed by something new.

When I get a chance I'll try finding some good dream sights on the net.It might be a few days until I get back.

I find that dream books that do a lot of talking about dreams but don't spend a lot of time with symbols have the best "to the point" meaning of a symbol.

I haven't had a lot of luck finding general meanings of symbols at a web site. If I run across a good one I'll post it. There are some good sites somewhere. []

I was walking along a suburban street window shopping. I stop in a store and I'm looking around. It's an antique store or it has the feel of one. It's a historic looking neighborhood. I exit the store and want to go further down the street to the left, but it's blocked for some reason. I have to go back up to the right and take a parallel street around it. I reach an intersection and I look to the left. There's a sunny bright looking street down that way. I look to the right. There's a shaded murky looking street that way. I know the left street would be the better one to take, but I'm drawn to the shady street for one reason or another.

I turn right and then turn right again down the shaded street. This is a neiborhood with a lot of old victorian houses in it. I come to an expanse of land that is withered and dusty looking. It's been caught in an autumn/winter for a long time. I begin to feel like I'm in a Steven King novel because the land and the house on it seems to have it's own sentience. It's evil, but needy.

I wander the grounds and meet a few caretakers of the property and home. They seem nervous and aware of it's presence. They talk about two girls that mysteriously dissapeared here when they think I can't hear them. The man says, "You know what it did to those two girls." He looks very scared and hesitant. "It didn't care about them why would it care about her?" He seems to be making a case against them helping me do whatever I'm there to do.

I wonder around and a metal sheet with victorian embellishments catches my eye. I don't know what it is. It's laying on the ground and part of it is bent. It somehow is pushed towards me. A ring is upon it and catches my eye. I pick it up and see an inscription. (This is 3rd point of view so I couldn't see what it looked like.) My hair is blonde and in ringlets. I have half my hair caught back in a ribbon and a striped dress on. I don't look like me at all. I read what is written and a dramatic change begins to take place. The land begins to quicken with spring. Things become brighter. I needed to say the secret word to let spring come to the land again.

After this the caretakers seem very cheerful and ask my help in preparing things cleaning etc. I let down some blinds and on the third one bugs fall all over me. The house is still evil, but it needed spring to come because it was so sick. I guess that's why it didn't kill me.
