Title: 2 energy flow questions
Post by: fredhedd on August 15, 2003, 14:05:50
robert says the same about doing too much energy work too fast.  if you go slow you should be fine.

the feelings that accompany energy raising are due to friction or blockages.  the feel good energy type stuff is due to the energy not flowing as freely as possible.  i read somewhere that someone who is very experienced w/ energy raising will only feel a slight tingle when massive amounts of energy are moving through them.

if you are feeling something substantial in your foot, there is a good chance it's a blockage.  just work on it slowly.  don't spend too much time on it.  have you tried the bandage tek that is in astral dynamics?

i believe robert said it could take a whole lifetime to fill all of your storage areas.  why do you want to know if you sub-naval is full or not anyway?   you would still draw energy up through there if it were.  honestly, i think you would no w/out a doubt if it were full or not.  maybe that you asked is an indication that it isn't.

One answer for two questions: Trust your senses.

To answer your first question. You will notice it, when you are forcing it too much. If you are familiar and aware of your body and your mind processes you will notice it at the right moment. So, no panic! And even if you are overdoing it, you can learn a lot by making mistakes. See mistakes as a chance when they happen, don't fear them.
Just stop your energy work, if it is getting too painful. It doesn't matter if an unpleasant experience like pain is the result of clearing a blockage or excessive energy work. Give your body some rest in that case. Soon you will know, if a blockage was cleared.

To give you a brief answer to your second question. You will definitely be aware of the conditions of your chakras, if you are regularly doing energy or body work. Try it by yourself and you will know what happens...

Love and light,
breeze

If you are developing your energetical system or healing yourself, you shouldn't be afraid of pain.

If you force energy to flow in large quantity then you'll know about it as you will have pain or even a burnout when you are new to this.

So, you're saying pain=too much?  I've been doing good if that's the case, since I've only felt pressure and flowing sensations.. nothing painful.
Uh, what's burnout again?  I read about that once, but I've already forgotten!
Oh and.. When you say it takes a lifetime, would that be a lifetime of 15 minutes a day Full body circuit?
How long would it take to raise energy if you got in about 2 hours a day of energy raising?

PS:Freddhead, Robert Bruce said there's no limit as to how much you can or should raise energy to the sub-navel storage center.

It depends upon the level of energy body of a person. A person who is very good and has been training in Energy for quite some time may never get a Burnout.

Sometimes the burnout does not result in Pain but sometimes it does.

A Burnout occurs when you concentrate too much energy in a particular area and the energy concentrated become larger than the capacity of that part to hold. It may be accompanied by pain. But due to it you will not be able to do energy work for a few days.

1:How much is too much when it comes to raising energy?  I've heard forcing energy flow can cause large, but fragile energy ways, and I wanted to know how to tell if you're forcing too much.  For one thing, I don't know if a pressure I feel in my foot is a blockage or forcing energy too much when I raise energy.
2:How can you tell if your sub-navel is full or not?  It's suppose to overflow into the sub-heart chakra, but I have no idea how to tell if it's reached that point yet.
