a crystal question

A book I bought on using gemstones with reiki suggests using seven crystals of the same kind on each of your chakras and then running energy through yourself. It suggests using garnet when recovering from illness or otherwise when you need a lot of energy quickly for something. It also suggested amethyst over all of the chakras for an interesting experience. Other than possibly clear quartz, this guarantees a difference between the color of the crystal and the color of the chakra it is sitting on 6 out of 7 times in one session. It does not seem to cause problems.

this thread reminds me of an interseting experience I had awhile ago.I wasn't using a crystal, but a stone with all kinds of fossils of shells & corals and stuff.I found that I could actually feel vibrations from the stone when I ran my hands over top of it, without touching it.After doing that for awhile, I got these perfectly round, red  circles on my palms, and I started seeing geometric patterns, like force fields when I closed my eyes.It actually created a certain sense of fear in me, and the next day I gotreally horribly sick! what the hell was that?! it was very strange! also-are there any good books on the subject of using crystals as related to chacras and AP?

A great many people have severe physical responses to energies, get sick after Reiki attunements and personally, I had a nasty allergic reaction to a tachyon cell. Energy allergies can also show up with people or certain energies from people.

The thought behind this is that the energy from the object or person is running into a blockage or a damaged erea in the channels/systems which are supposed to transport/conduct it and thus cause the responses.

hello to the people

does  using a crystal in the wrong way do any harm,  or does it simply have no effect what-so-ever???

i ask this because  I have read that  placing a colered crystal on the corresponding colored  chakra helps to rebalance it..... e.g.  rose or green quartz on the heart.  

But,  suppose i place green quartz on my brow chakra???  as   the brow is supposedly indigo,  would they somehow cause energetic tension?
