I would say this was energy related, Robert mentions it in 'Astral Dynamics' as one of the sensations of energy movement. It is definately a NEW sensation.

I know that some eastern energy-raising schools claim that energy raising and meditation actually atracts various bugs and other smal animals/insects.. But in your case it´s probably just the energy flowing

The good news is that it will go away with time and practice. You might even find that you miss the sensations when they are gone, if things get to be too quiet and it seems like nothing is going on.

If you continue practicing the NEW system, the strong vibrant sensations will decrease in both strength and consistency. Please, do NOT take this the wrong way - it is actually a sign of progression. Many people do "flip out" and take it the wrong way thinking something is wrong with them, so let me save you the heartache, and tell you that you'll be alright! ^_^
It really does depend on the individual, and how quickly their body adapts to the exercises...so, stick in there. Eventually, the energy sensations will be replaced by a nice warm trickling....*grin* nice feeling!

You know though, This usually starts up when I am not focusing on doing and energy raising. I like for instance right NOW. I am just sitting here typing away at my keyboard and IT FEELS LIKE I HAVE ANTS ON ME!
It is starting to get really annoying! It's just as bad as some one pointing there fingure at one..."I'm not touching you." But the only difference is I can't just smack some one and have it stop.

That really sucks, doesn't sound like much fun.......hmmmm, use this aggravating sensation to practice focus. See how well you can control yourself (eg delay getting annoyed), and practice "blocking" things out. Great skill for projecting....

This means that you are becoming more sensitive to feeling your sutble body. There are various astral creatures that a probably crawling over you.
You may sometimes feel a pin prick, these can be astral creatures. As other astral sense develop, you may see them.
I am not so sure as to what you can do to clear them away, they are probably harmless.

I am laughing at this post now, but when I was was first starting energy work, the first month, I had a major problem with pricking sensations. One night I had a particular pricking sensation in my right foot, like a needle it was quite painful, then a forced feeling into my foot, then this thing (felt the size of a pea) made it's way slowly up my leg, it got a bit stuck behind my knee but managed to push through up into my hip and I then lost it somewhere in my stomache. I totally freaked out! I posted on the old forum in such a panic. I couldn't face energy work for weeks of fear. I was convinced 'something' had got into me. Dont do this to yourself, it's not creatures, energy works in very strange ways, everybody has a weird story to tell about energy going through the body.
Next time it happens, use an imaginary brush (in my days of fear I would imagine a flame-thrower!) and brush the sensation away. The sensations will go - if you let it go...

You know now that you mention it. I usually feel it the most when I am on my computer. But I have been getting it sometimes when away or trying to meditate. Interesting.

Question.
I have been developing a new sensation that I think is related to the energy work. I keep getting the sensation of ants, or small bugs crawling all over me. It often gets so intense that I end up actually checking to see if anything is there.
Does any one think it may be energy related?
Or am I developing a phobia?
