Interesting observation while doing NEW

Has any you who practice NEW experienced hallucinations during the energy work?

Last night, while I was concentrated on my meditation, I opened my eyes for a second and, to my deepest surprise, I saw a figure standing right by my bed. It was of the size of a ~8 years old child, dark, with little, blue flames running along the edges of its contour and where its eyes should be, and somehow gave the impression of being female. I looked at it for a while, and it didn't vanish, so I made it disappear quite automatically.
The interesting thing is that I was not in trance state of any kind, as I had just begun meditating.

ähm... no this has never happened to me but maybe this wasnt halluzination but a GHOST!

At the moment, I was suddenly afraid and just did automatic banishing, so I didn't manage to ask it what it was...

the only thing that bothers me about it is that it happened just at the beginning of meditation so it was no hypnogogic. you saw it withyour real physicall eyes, did you? i never had contact to ghosts so i cant say what its like. maybe youre just going nuts^^

Yeah, that's very comforting, jalef. I'm going nuts.

Since then I've meditated (did NEW) for several times, and nothing of this king has happened again.

Could it be that my third eye was active and I saw something without even realizing it?

of course that could be...
but as i said something like this has never happened to me so i cant say for sure what it was. if it happens one more time, you could try to comunicate. in every case you shouldnt worry about it.
